Two bed has laundry in unit, coin op in building, well appointed with period details, fireplaces, wood floors, antiques, sunny, spacious, meticulously maintained building. Just a 5 minute walk to Public transport and two stop to North Station in down town Boston. Ideal commuting location. Great neighborhood, with fun local restaurants, bars, pubs, and 5 min walk to Assembly Row Shopping dining and theater. Kitchens have all the essentials, to make you feel at home. Harvard and MIT and Tufts are all nearby. PRIME LOCATION.

It is such a gorgeous building in a wonderful location. We love the neighborhood restaurants and bars and saw an opportunity to restore a classic beauty. We rehabbed but saved and showcased some of the most appealing elements such as the marble stairway and entrance, exposed brick walls in many apartments, and period details. We rent out a few units on furnished short term basis.
The building is just a few minutes from the T stop for easy access, to all of Boston. Restaurants and shopping walking distance as well. Great neighborhood!
First visit to Boston and this apartment was perfect for it. Very close to the T line and easy to get to from the airport. The apartment was very clean, bright, quiet and contained everything we needed. Minor downside was the strength of the wifi, very patchy at times.
This is the second time that I have stayed here and I have nothing but rave reviews to give this property and the owner. As mentioned in my last comment, the apartment is very comfortable, easily feels like home, great location... etc. etc. But the owner and his manager are beyond amazing. I rented from vrbo a few times and the owners make such a difference to the experience of renting a furnished apartment. If everyone was as great as them, hotels would be out of business.
Everything was fabulous about this place. Quite building, really nice clean and cozy apartment, and in a great location (10min to Boston or Cambridge, 3 blocks from train, + Somerville is pretty cool on its own). The owner and manager are great, very easy to get a hold of, and genuinely care about their properties and that you are happy.
Nothing at all to complain about the place. Was very happy I stayed here for my month in Boston!
My husband and I stayed in one of these apartments for a month this summer and found it comfortable and well equipped. John and Glenn were exceptionally attentive hosts and went to great lengths to make sure that we had everything we needed. Although we weren't terribly familiar with this corner of Somerville, we were pleased to discover that it was only a twenty-minute walk to Union Square (and another twenty minutes past that to Harvard). And a benefit of being on the Orange Line is that you can change to the Green Line trains in North Station, thus avoiding all the crowds at Park Street. We would certainly stay again. I have been in the apartment for almost two months now and I am very happy to have chosen it as my short term home. The apartment is in a beautiful building, in a quiet area, but close to T, bus routes, restaurants and shops. Union square is walking distance and Inman and Davis Squares are just a short bus ride away.
The apartment is sunny in the mornings, well appointed and the landlords John and Glenn could not be more helpful.
My 3.5 months at 91 Perkins have been wonderful. The apartment is sleek, clean, modern, and has a lot of Boston charm with its oil paintings, wonderful art, a magnificent fire place, and more. It's quiet. Near public transport. And with the parking lot made life hassle free when coming home at night from work. Kitchen is state of the art, great flat screen TV. Best landlord (seriously) I've ever had in regards to accessibility, helpfulness, and accommodating little issues along the way.
This property is two blocks from Boston line, on quiet tree lined street, one block from great restaurants, Assembly Row shopping area, Movie theater. There is parking at the door, but there is no need for a car. The T stop is a 5 minute walk, and Down town Boston is 2 stops. Walk to groceries, etc. The building is gorgeous historic structure with bow front windows, and lots charm. The apartment is well equipped, and very impressive, with period antique furnishings and oriental rugs. One and two bed options. The two bed is town house style with two bed two baths and a study, working gas fireplace, SPACIOUS, sunny. 10 min to Downtown Boston on quiet tree lined street.
