2 bedroom apartment in Atlantico Village, Pedra do Ouro comfortably sleeps 6

Ground floor apartment in block of just 10 with immediate access to the pool and private patio area from all rooms. Spacious living room has been furnished with contemporary furniture, 37' TV, Freesat, WiFi internet access, HD DVD player and portable stereo. Full AC throughout. the kitchen includes granite work tops, all mod con whirlpool appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, touch ceramic hob, microwave and oven) cutlery and utensils for 6 guests. 2 double bedrooms nicely furnished throughout with double wardrobes, French windows and external electric shutters. Main bedroom has en suite toilet/shower room and second bathroom with shower and bath. Both have under floor heating. Towels and bedding are supplied and changed weekly if staying for more than 7 days. Video porter, alarm and telephone on site. Guest access to bikes (4), garden furniture (6), pool furniture. Large private patio area with BBQ next to decking and pool. It's all lovely really!

Notes

  • Cleaning and Laundry are inclusive for stays of 7 days or more. We will have someone to meet and greet you, show you around the apartment, handover keys, demonstrate alarm system etc, and access to pool, garage and additional items like the bikes.
  • There is a 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm booking with remainder of payment required 4 weeks prior to your holiday start date.
    We will also take a refundable deposit of €100 for breakages which will be returned to your account within two weeks of your holiday departure date. (subject to satisfactory inspection)
    A cleaning and laundry charge of €75 is applicable for stays of 6 days or less.
    A refundable deposit of €75 per bicycle is required with the balance of the payment. This will be returned to your account within two weeks of your departure. (Subject to satisfactory inspection of the bicycles).
    Bicycles and pool equipment are free for guests to use at their own risk.
    * please note that the owners accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property, injury or death to any guest or visitor to the property. Guests are reminded to take our suitable travel, personal belongings and health insurance policies for the period of their holiday.

  • The main bathroom and en suite have under floor heating. Air conditioning is also present in these areas.

  • Both bedrooms have large double wardrobes with plenty of hanging space and access to the pool area. There is a very comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge with bedding, towels and wardrobe space available in the main hallway. There are two sets of bedding for each bed and these will be changed on a weekly basis for guests who are staying more then 7 days. Towels will also be changed weekly.

Notes: Samsung 37' HD TV with HDMI cable to HD DVD player and Freesat + HD recorder. There is a selection of books and DVDs on site. Broadband WiFi internet access is available, owner will provide WPA key when required.. The pool is only accessible for the guests in the block (10 apartments). The main door is toughened and very secure but there is also an alarm system (guests will be given demonstration when shown into apartment) and secure underground garage. There are sun beds available for guests and a paddling pool for the little ones.

Having spent numerous holidays in Portugal, this was our first venture to this part of the country. It was stunning. Located near a vast pine forest, there are cycle tracks along the roads for the bike enthusiasts. The beaches and surrounding seaside towns were fantastic. The apartment is modern, clean and well-equipped for a family holiday - from what I gather the only apartment on that particular complex that had wi-fi, which is really helpful. A couple of issues upon arrival, but immediately sorted by the owner via their maintenance people. Owner was incredibly helpful and I would not hesitate in recommending the apartment.

We have now spent 3 holidays at this new and tastefully furnished apartment and must say that each time we have had a most enjoyable and relaxing time. The swimming pool, surrounding villages, restaurants and beaches all added to the excellent experience. We would very much recommend this holiday apartment.

A luxurious, spacious, spotless, well equipped apartment in a quiet, but accessable location. The pool is ideally situated just yards from the patio doors-ideal for the children to pop in and out. The beach and coast is beautiful, but the sea very rough. The owners were very helpful beforehand, and can be contacted if needs. There is also an english contact/agent with good local knowledge, and a first point of contact for queries/problems. There is plenty to see and do-a car is essential to make the most of the region. For a family of five, we had a fabulous holiday, and would love to return.

First time on Silver Coast

We thought the apartment and this area of Portugal were excellent and the weather was good considering it was the start of June. You do need a car to get around the local villages and the fish restaurants but we also stayed in for a BBQ and cooked in the well equipped kitchen a couple of nights. The 'meet and greet' guy was really helpful; he showed us around the apartment and told us about some of the local sites.
Overall, we really enjoyed this 'real' Portuguese experience and will be back again.
