Very comfortable 2 bedroom guest house located on Thoroughbred farm. Surrounded by some of the greatest stallion farms in the bluegrass including Three Chimneys, Lanes End and WinStar Farms all 2-5 miles away. About 15 minutes from The Ky Horse Park and 10 minutes from Keeneland.
Guest house sleeps 3-4 people. Fully furnished and excellent condition. It has everything you need to feel right at home.
The bluegrass of Kentucky is considered one of the most beautiful places in the country. Our property is centered in the heart of it and many consider the area paradise. Bluegrass tours take the scenic road, Old Frankfort Pike, which is a part of the horse farm tour. Our property is located 1/4 of a mile off Old Frankfort Pike.
The Guest house above the garage has been completely rennovated. It has not been lived in since rennovation and is completely furnished and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing quiet vacation or just a night or weekend away. We have only recently decided to use our Guest house as a rental property and we would like to welcome you to our small thoroughred farm. We are nestled in a quiet country setting where you can forget about the hustle and bustle of city life.
Came here for the horse races at Keeneland and could not have picked a better place.
It was quiet and secluded, so I got some handicapping done before I went to the track.
A very comfortable place to stay. Gary and Cindy were great host and the place brought
lots of good karma. It came with every thing and they thought of every thing.
The only time I heard the dog bark was the day I got there to say hello and the day I left
to say so long.
The drive to and from any where is great. Some of the biggest horse farms in the country
Can take back roads to the track
Kentucky horse park is not far
Would give it more stars if I could
We came for a wedding and wished we could stay longer just because it was so comfortable and in such a beautiful area. There wasn't time to do any of the suggested things except drive around and look at the magnificent horse farms and eat at a couple of the suggested restaurants, which were great. Checking out the 2 foals was a bonus. We certainly hope to return in the future!
The weather may not have been the best during our stay in Lexington, but it did not dampen our spirits. This guest house had everything that we needed to make evenings easy going when we returned back after days of much site seeing. One of the best parts of staying here is the drive to reach the guest house --- beautiful country drive in the midst of some wonderful horse farms. You feel like you should be far outside of town and yet it is quick drive to get to most anything that is needed. The owners were very helpful and have a lot of reading info about the area. Plenty of space for our group of three adults. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Very clean home and well maintained. Wallace Station became our go to place to pick up a sandwich, some cookie treat etc. It is very close by the guest house. Was great fun to get up in the morning and walk out to the barn area to visit with the horses. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the Lexington area. The owners were always quick to get back in touch with us when we were setting up our trip.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. When driving up, I wasn't sure what to expect. It is a place above the garage. The inside is so nicely done that it is amazing. The host were so friendly and gracious. And they never intruded at all. This place is so clean, neat, and well stocked. You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay here. the guesthouse is located among some of the most famous horse farms in the area. It comes complete with living area, kitchen, and this great counter area in the dining area. We used this counter to play games at night. The apartment smells so fresh and great. No smoking allowed inside. The deck allows the perfect sitting area if you do smoke. There are so many special touches including the coffee, shampoos and supplies, and fresh drinking water in the fridge. The unit is air conditioned with 3 window units. The host also put together a great book of info. It was so nice. We ate at The Heirloom, which is the best restaurant my family has ever eaten at. I can't say enough good things about the rental, hospitality, and the value for the price. We would stay at this location again for sure. On top of it all, we made friends for life with the horses on the farm. The brown mare loved to be petted.
Stayed at this apartment while picking daughter up after first year at UK. It was clean, very comfortable, and centrally located to attractions including great food at Wallace station just down the road. We have stayed at many locations during our trips to Lexington, all good, but this guest house stands out for its location in the middle of some of the most beautiful horse farms in the country. Would definitely stay again and have recommended it to my friends who come to the horse park for competitions
Even the drive to this property was breathtaking and upon arrival, the guest house was welcoming, immaculately clean, comfortable and thoughtfully provisioned. The kitchen had all the amenities listed plus useful items such as scissors and bag clips. The owners had thought of every detail.
For a thoroughbred horse lover, the location was perfect with windows overlooking several pastures. There was lots of information in the guesthouse about what to see and do in the area and the owners provided additional information upon request.
I especially loved walking down to the barn and greeting the horses and barn cats. As a solo traveller I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and calm environment where one could totally take in even little things like trying to spot a four-leaf clover. I already wish I were staying there again.
