The listing for this property is accurate, the location is very central and was excellent for our stay. Our venue was at Winsport at C.O.P, which was a 15 minute trip. We also enjoyed shopping as major malls are a short drive away. The house is older, but renovated, clean & tidy. The owner is a gem, very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property to other families.
For a first time renting a house for a vacation, THAT house set the standard very high. Many of the accessories are very good quality (Mium café!) (Ha! Le spa!)
The house in itself is cozy and enjoyable to live in. The neighborhood is quiet and great. You can see that Elaine loves people and is very attentionate by all the details.
No fear : the place is clean, very well furnished, beds are very comfortable too, very easy to access any part of the city. Cannot go wrong with this one!

We all (Grannie, Gramper, Mum, Dad, Rosie and Matt) felt comfortably at home the moment we walked through the front door of Ridgehaven to be welcomed by Elaine. The children loved having their own 'apartment' downstairs leaving the adults to enjoy all the comfort and facilities of the ground floor.
The house is kept very clean and is exceptionally well appointed. Its location near the new C train station and proximity to Sarcee trail make it ideal for exploring both Calgary and the Rockies only an hour away.
Our long overdue visit to Calgary would not have been so perfect had it not been for our stay in Ridgehaven and it will be our first choice again should we return in the future.

We came to Calgary for the 100 yr Calgary Stampede Anniversary, we are so glad we had Ridge Haven as our base for the 3 weeks, everything about this house was absolutly perfect, it was very comfortable and situated in a quiet residential area, but close to all the amenities and just minutes from downtown by car. The house was spotless, nicely decorated, well laid out, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay, the beds were very comfortable and all 4 of us slept well. We all felt right at home and would like to thank Elaine & Paddy for making our stay in Calgary so memorable.
This house was a fantastic place to stay and it made our stay in Calgary so relaxing and enjoyable. The house is roomy and very well furnished. The photos for the house show you exactly what to expect. The bedrooms are the right size to accommodate nine people without feeling like you're getting in someone else way.
The two living rooms allowed everyone to sit and relax without someone standing or sitting on a chair or the floor.
The property is very well taken care of and very welcoming. It was a pleasure to relax outside on the porch after a long day of sightseeing. For us the hot tub was a special added bonus to relax those sore legs after all that walking.
The kitchen is equipped well for anyone from the casual cook to serious chefs to make meals to feed the whole household.
The house is in a fantastic location. It is very easy to get into the downtown core and it is just as easy to head north or west into the mountains. With a small detour you can easily head east and south without being stuck on city streets.
Being so close to a major public transit line makes taking public transit is very simple and easy. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance of the house so if you did forget anything you can quickly and easily get what you need although with all of the amenities and equipment that the house already has I doubt that you`ll left wanting for anything.
If and when we visit Calgary on an extended stay and this house is available this will be the only option that we consider.
1/2 hour drive (Bragg Creek area) to the Canadian Rockies and world-class skiing in the winter and hiking and sightseeing during the summer. Golf courses within minutes, and close to the Calgary Zoo, Calaway Park, and Canada Olympic Park. Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise are easy day trips and outlet shopping and cinemas are 10 minutes away. Calgary attractions also include the Calgary Tower, Heritage Park, and dinner theaters. NEW LRT train service within 5 minutes walking, which gives access to downtown Calgary in 10 minutes
