This is the place to stay in Brian Head. Fantastic and Spacious Condo!
If you live in So Cal, and u are considering Brian Head, UT for a ski vacation, definitely go for it. It is nothing like Mammoth or Big Bear. No Crowds, No Lift Lines, and super friendly people. Beautiful terrain and an easy drive from Southern California. Its about 2.5 hours past Vegas, but a really fast drive, with only the last five miles the mountain ascent.
We arrived on Friday of Presidents Day weekend and were surprised at the lack of crowds or traffic. This condo is located very near the Navajo Lodge and Giant Steps Lodge, and in fact, with a short walk, you could be right at the top of chair lift 4 of Navajo to start your ski day if you desired. We drove to the Navajo lodge(the easier runs), about a quarter mile, as we are beginner skiers and needed to rent skis.
This condo is very big with a great floor plan. There is a nice tiled entry area with bench, coat hooks, and storage to remove your wet boots and clothes after a long day of skiing. From there it opens to the kitchen, dining room, and family room all which combine to one big great room. Although we are a family of four, this could easily fit eight people with room to spare. Couches are comfy, dining room chairs are padded (a plus for me), and the 60" TV w/ cable and dvd player. It makes for a perfect layout for easy conversations and relaxing. There is a balcony right off the family room with double doors and a nice view of the Giant Steps Lodge (the more advanced runs) and slopes.
The bedrooms are big, and the beds are great. Plenty of pillows, down comforters, high thread count sheets. All the furniture is great quality, and all counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms are granite. The whole place looks like a model home and all amenities are like brand new. Stainless steel kitchen appliances also are new and top quality. There really is nothing that is not top notch.
We used the Freedom Passes everyday, and definetely saved us $120/day just using those.
Duane, the owner, provided us with plenty of info for our stay, and responded quickly on the one question i had while we were there.
I would definetely recommend you stay at this amazing condo. It has everything you need. We look forward to our return stay.
