Plumeria Hale is part of 'The Greens of Waikoloa', a luxuriously landscaped property located on the 2nd fairway of the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Village Golf Course. Plumeria Hale is a 1000 s.f. turnkey 2 Bedroom/2Bathroom downstairs/end unit condo with lots of views and natural light. Tastefully, beautifully, and comfortably decorated, you will have everything you need to make you feel at home. From luxurious linens to a fully equipped kitchen, this condo is 'clean' and 'airy'. You will have all the modern conveniences to stay connected with T.V.'s, DVD's, Cable, Stereo, Broadband/WiFi, and a phone to make local or 1-800 calls. There is a selection of movies, music, books, games, and sport/beach gear for your pleasure. There is even a new washer/dryer!

The Golf Course, our beautiful pool/hot tub, tennis court, putting green, workout room, and playground are just steps away. Golf fees are very affordable as they are discounted for our guest. There are several gas grills on the property for those that like food on the 'barbie'. The Master Suite is for the 'Romantic', featuring a California- King adjustable bed with a bath and shower on suite. The Second Bedroom is tropical, cozy, and private featuring a Queen Bed, with it's own bath with shower and tub. Both rooms have private Lani's with chairs. Both rooms also have lots of closet space.

We have the best weather of the Hawaiian Islands here in Waikoloa, averaging from 66-88F year round, and we have lots of 'Waikoloa Breeze'. Plumeria Hale has ceiling fans in all of the main rooms, lots of windows and sliding doors, and an air-conditioner for the few days that the trade winds are still in the afternoon. Evenings here are cool.

The location here is great for access to some of the best 'World Class Resorts' and Beaches. Kona Airport is just a 25 minute drive down the highway. Kailua-Kona town is just a 35 minute drive down the highway. Shops, restaurants are good and plentiful. The Village even has an outstanding food market, (try the cream-filled malasada from the bakery, YUM!). There is also a gas station, banks, and churches just 2 minutes away. I just love this location. The tradewinds, the sunshine, the sunsets, and the amazing views that we have in Waikoloa Village were my major draws. We have the best weather here for year round comfort and it is easy to get around the 'Big Island' from this location without all the hustle and bustle of the larger towns. I find that the Village is peaceful yet it offers all the conveniences one needs.

What makes this condo unique

I loved the privacy and the openness of this end unit condo. I have my own garden and 4 Lani's to sit outside. There are lots of doors and windows to capture the wonderful views and breeze. The landscaping, grounds and common area's are beautifully kept. The beaches, shopping, and restaurants are all close by. We have a beautifully kept designer golf course and club house here, and lots of other activities to do outdoors. Everyone is happy and helpful in keeping with the 'Aloha spirit'. It feels like you are always on vacation here!

A Wonderful Big Island Bargin!

This unit was much more than we expected,especially for the price we paid! The owner was so gracious in helping us to plan our trip. Everything was nicely presented, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We were even greeted to Welcome gifts! The views and the grounds were beautiful. There were many things to do there such as nice tennis, golf, and pool. The local shopping was also very nice. The best beaches on the island were all close by. We will certainly come back again!

Noise and no view problem

This is what the listing describes...."condo with lots of views and natural light." Not quite the whole story.
There are no views other that what you see in the picture displayed. The building on the west side of the parking lot blocks the ocean and sunset views. We were told there was a "partial" view. There is no view.
This unit is a nice two bedroom with a very comfortable King bed in the MBR. The other bed is not comfortable...it may have a plastic covering over the mattress. The real problem we had during our two month stay was primarily with Paniolo Point. The unit sits at the corner of the entrance to the Timeshare/condo/hotel/long term "locals" rental facility. Your day starts with roaring diesel engines from the trash trucks, delivery trucks and buses that come and go past the unit. But...the biggest problem is the construction of this very old place...the unit is on the ground floor and when the two units above it are occupied you can hear LOUD footsteps on the tile floor above. Management admitted this is a known problem. Sometimes the stomping is so bad the fan in the living room ceiling sways. And then there is the infamous Cart 15. A gasoline powered service cart in need of a muffler and a tune up to stop the backfiring. It runs back and forth all day long. The owner did what she could to help...but it is the facility that is the problem..not her unit.

Owner's Response: Aloha. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay in Hawaii. You did not rent this Condo from VRBO/Homeaway. My condo and the other's in the complex were built in 1990. They are very nice and very well kept, as are the grounds and all facilities. The staff is very helpful and this property has always received 4-5 ***** ratings. My Condo complex is "The Green's" and not "The Pointe". My condo also has some views. I hope that your next adventure is a better experience for you.

LOVELY

We stayed at Dana's Vacation home and were very impressed with the location and the attention to detail that Dana put into her home, we relaxed so much there and the location is just perfect for heading off to the North Point sites and all the resorts for eating. The place was clean and bug free and perfect for the 3 of us, but 4 or 5 would have plenty of room there. We planned on cooking at the home as it was well stocked with many things you would need, but we were so relaxed we got lazy and just ate out in the resort areas most days! I highly suggest staying here and driving to the Hilton to take the boat shuttle at the resort to the various resturaunts, you get to resort food (no cooking) and the home benefit of staying at Dana's!!! I am keeping this rental in my favorites!
