Cristmas/New Years 2 Family vacation

My brother's family of 5 and my family of 7 recently spent the week after Christmas vacationing at this property and could not have been happier. The home is in a very picturesque section of East Vail, overlooking Gore Creek and comfortably slept the 12 of us. The home's open floor plan lent itself to having the entire group in the familiy room/kitchen area without feeling croweded and yet the lower basement area (walk out) still provided room for the kids to get away ( and not get on the parents nerves :-) ). If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen had nice high end appliances and was well stocked and the home was very clean.
As far as location, the Home is situated about 200 yards from the free vail shuttle about 3.5 miles to Vail village (shopping, grocery, etc..) and about a quarter mile from the nearest convenience/liquor store for those last minute items.
Finally, If I didnt mention working with the owner, I would clearly be remise. In addition to a friendly attitide, he was very reponsive and as accomodating as possible.
All in all, Im not sure we could have found a better property for our trip without spending twice as much.
