Great location. Beautiful drive into town. Super soft beds. Cottage is much larger than it appears in pictures. Overall very peaceful vacation. Just what we needed. Thank you!
The Creekside Cottage was so peaceful! I enjoyed being so close to the creek, having the swing in the back yard, and having all the comforts of home in the cottage. The cottage was beautifully decorated and supplied most everything we needed. The beauty of the surroundings was the icing on the cake!
Creed-side cottage was better than I imagined. It was immaculate, quiet and beautiful both inside and outside (just feet from the running creek). After arriving, my quests and I appreciated it being located just north of Sedona where we were able to hike and shop during the days and retreat to our cottage in the evenings. The cottage is a short drive from Sedona. Although not ‘cooks’ we appreciated the updated appliances and patio area stocked with a grill and lounging furniture. Although I arrived with a few quests, I’d feel comfortable and safe enough to stay there alone. I can on and on, but I’ll close by saying, if you are considering a place sort of ‘away from the city’ but still close enough to everything, I’d recommend this place without reservations.
"The cabin was perfect, cozy and yet modern. The layout was nice, with a large, central kitchen and great room, and separate bedroom living spaces. The bedrooms were large, the beds were comfortable, and the views were lovely. The fireplace was great for roasting marshmallows and playing card games in front of.
Each morning we went for a hike down the creek, and up the hill, and saw the sunrise, which was amazing!!
In the evening, the community was nice and quiet and dark. I was concerned about the cabin being just off the main road, but we didn't hear any vehicle noise at all, which was great!
Given what we would have paid for a hotel and eating out in Sedona, this arrangement was MUCH better, since we ate healthy foods for each mean and all hung out together each evening, enjoying games and conversation...We will definitely be staying here again!!"
This was my first stay in the Oak Creek canyon area. Having stayed overnight in Sedona once before, we had driven up 89-A and even stopped in the Slide Rock Park. I knew I wanted to come back. But nothing compares to being in the valley for days surrounded by log cabin homes and so many recreational options! We were able to plan daylong hikes after breakfast in Sedona, and daylong hikes finishing in time for dinner in Sedona. One night we grilled out, and marveled at the stars. The residential area is so quiet, and the cottage so nicely appointed, with roman blinds for privacy. I can't think of anything I'd change, except wishing I could've stayed longer!
Great little house but the lack of hot water turned what would have been a great get away cold. We had to restart the hot water heater at least 8 times during our 3 day stay. Not a good thing after a great day of hiking the red rocks.
