A BBQ grill is available by the pool to cook your own creations whilst watching the magnificent sunset on the horizon. The three levels of the lagoon style pool cascade into each other. You will want to dig your feet into the sand bottom of the huge jacuzzi spa. The landscaping at the pool is a work of art. Most guests visiting Hali'i Kai have had the opportunity to see whales right off the shore when visiting December to April.
The fitness hut right at the Ocean's edge provides a motivating spot to work on your personal health regimen. The setting is perfect to motivate you while not missing a moment of the beauty that is the Big Island Oceanfront.
Hali’i Kai oceanfront homes are located on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island, approximately 18 miles from the Kona International Airport. Blessed with only ten inches of rainfall annually, most days here are sun drenched and cooled by the breezes of Anaehoomalu Bay.
Year-round, the weather on the Kohala Coast is warm but not humid, nearly bug-free, and almost always sunny.
The Kohala coast is a place of contrasts black lava fields sprinkled with tropical green golf courses, blue ocean, rich yellow sandy beaches, and vibrant tropical flora.
The Big Island has much to explore: an active volcano, coffee plantations, ranchlands, farmers markets, a snow-capped mountain, black-sand and white-sand beaches, and the charming town of Kailua, as well as snorkeling, whale-watching, and sunset cruises.
This condo is managed by a small boutique company that is attentive to your needs while here. You will love this special condo and the wonderful relaxing experience of this world class property: Hali'i Kai. There is a resort fee of $ 10.00 per day that is paid to the on-site office upon check in. This is per unit ... (not per person).
Whether you are looking for the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or family vacation, you have found it in this newly purchased Hali’i Kai property.
We have been coming to Hawaii for many years to experience it's extraordinary beauty and aloha spirit. We watched Hali'i Kai being built and fell in love with everything the resort has to offer.
Cindi Morgan purchased this condo in 2012
At Hali'i Kai we have found a place like no other, and hope to share everything it has to offer with you. After a day of playing golf, tennis or swimming, we love sitting on the lanai at 11-C as it renews our spirit and provides the ultimate relaxation. We enjoy watching the golfers pass, looking out to the sparkling ocean, and as the afternoon draws to a close, experience the most magnificent sunsets you will ever see!
Enjoy cooking a delicious meal on the lanai grill while staying in, or venture out to a variety of excellent restaurants and bars close by including the Ocean grill by the pool. We particularly enjoy Merrimans Café, Lava Lava and Roy's.
Waikoloa is a slice of heaven on the Big Island and close to everything you may like to explore. Play a game of tennis or golf, swim at beautiful beaches close by, or just relax and stroll down to the pool, sip a cocktail at the pool bar, and experience the beauty and serenity of the Kohala coastline. We have provided all the amenities to make your vacation spectacular. We have found Hali'i Kai has the best of everything Hawaii can offer, and hope that everyone who visits 11-C loves it as much as we do.
Our family of four just returned from our luxurious stay at Hali'i Kai Resort. The grounds are spacious and has a beautiful oceanside location. The resort pool facilities felt like an all inclusive resort with our own bar and restaurant, with an incredible view of the ocean. We could spend the whole day there and have everything we needed. The condo was nicely stocked from boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels to our own washer and dryer. The kitchen had everything we needed and having our own bbq on our lanai was super handy! One review said that the condo would be a tight fit for four people but our family of four, with two teenage kids, fit very comfortably in the condo. One of the best things about this condo was being able to sit on the lanai and look for whales, which we saw daily. This was our second stay at Waikoloa Beach Resort but our first time at Hali'i Kai. This property was definitely our favourite and we would certainly come back to stay here on a return trip.
My Wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Incredible views every night of the sunset and the golf course. You could see the splash from the surf coming up throughout the day, and if you looked hard enough you could even see some whales! We made frequent use of the beach club house for happy hour, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Cindy was great to work with as well we did have an issue with the date setup but we were able to resolve that asap.
We spent six days with our family and it was just perfect.
Confortable, perfect condo, such a great atmosphere.
We strongly recommend it. Certanly we will come back soon.
We were very happy with this spotless 2 bedroom/2 bath Condo on the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course signature hole with fairway and ocean views from our lanai. The1st floor unit was nicely appointed with upgrades - perfect for the two of us, but would be a bit small in living room / dining area for 4 adults. It was very quiet and peaceful, and everyone in the area was friendly. From the lanai, it is only a short walk to the club house, which serves very good food (limited menu). Pool is small and more for wading than swimming, but overlooks the ocean and is a salt water pool. Snorkeling is nearby.....
Used the large BBQ grill (there was a spare tank - thoughtful) and found the kitchen very well equipped.
Cable had many channel choices and there were flat panel TVs in both bedrooms and the living room.
The nearby Hilton with great art and facilities is worth visiting. And the Waikoloa Beach area has nice facilities including fine dining.
The property manager, Cindi, was super and very responsive. It was a pleasure dealing with her. Very professional.
I would definitely return and work with Cindi again.
We were very impressed with the condo, it’s absolutely beautiful with a perfect setting. The kitchen is nice and modern and well stocked for any cooking. Both bathrooms were great, providing plenty of room for everyone. The view from the back patio is exactly how the pictures shows – it was not zoomed in. You overlook the golf course and then the ocean. The location was ideal, close to shopping and restaurant, as well as many nice beaches. Thank you!
Just opened in Waikoloa Beach Resort, the oceanside open-air restaurant, 'Lava Lava,' tropical drinks, island food, live music and watching sunsets.
