|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
This is my full time residence and I've decided to rent it for just a few weeks per year, while I travel. All of the original Condo/Rental furniture has been replaced. I've installed; wood floors, double dishwasher, washer & dryer, flat screen TV's in every room, Bose stereo system, raised patio furniture and much more. You will be using my crystal stem and flatware, gourmet cookware, coffee and espresso machines, double swing refrigerator with filtered water and ice machine, washer and dryer, 600 thread count sheets on two kings and one queen bed. The master bedroom w/lockout has a king Select Comfort bed, electric fireplace, Flat screen HDTV mini kitchen with fridge and microwave, window out to the deck and large sitting area. The second bedroom located just off the living room features a king bed, Flat screen TV, double windows, large closet and locking door. Down the hall past the sliding glass doors to the deck is the third bedroom with fold out queen bed, closet, Flat screen TV, double windows and locking door (not a den called a bedroom). A dedicated ski locker is just one floor down on the way out to the lifts. Club Solitudes complete facilities are directly below, no need to go out in the cold to work-out or enjoy the outdoor hot tubs and pool. Keep your eye on the kids from the 50' long deck spanning the lodge entrance and pool area. Both a dining bar with stools and expandable dining table allow seating for everyone in your group. The extremely large living room with gas fireplace, HDTV and sumptuous leather couches provide the perfect environment to relax after skiing. The heated and secure garage is just two floors down for easy access. Come and enjoy my home when I'm away.
I'm in the manufacturing business in Salt Lake and commute to work from my home here at Solitude. I've just recently decided to offer it for rental a few weeks per year, when I'm on vacation or traveling for business.
Kerry Smith purchased this condo in 2001
We were at the head of the line when the selection process for Eagle Springs East units started and we picked the most sought after property. During the construction we had many items added and changed with the intention to live here full time. I've never regretted my decision to purchase and live here. I'm just 30 minutes from my office in central Salt Lake. Is it the best in the village, I think so and I'm sure you will agree.
Every bedroom is secluded from the others with locking doors, closets and outside windows. The large deck allows you to see the ski hill while overlooking the pool, just one floor down. Dining inside or out is spacious and convenient. This is 'by far' the building and unit to be in.
We just had the best time at Solitude! Your home was lovely and the welcome basket was such a generous touch. I am so glad we stayed there. We truly enjoyed every minute.
Anyways just wanted to let you know what a great experience it was for us and I truly think we will be back and giving you a call.
This is our third visit to Solitude. This unit is top-notch and is our favorite by far. Having 3 full bedrooms was a definite plus traveling with kids. The beds were all comfy and all have a wonderful view of the mountain. The patio is a great feature. It is more than twice the size as the others and looks right out over the pool. There was no problem with the noise even when there were lots of people enjoying the pool/spa. The unit itself was very clean, nicely decorated and well-stocked. The washer and dryer was a huge plus as well! Solitude was great despite the locals saying they needed snow. Conditions here were better than any other mountain...as usual. 50 degree days and blue skies. Love Solitude. Kerry was a pleasure to work with and we hope to stay with her again next Spring Break. Thanks Kerry!
Solitude is a fantastic spot. We had a very nice time. Kerry was great to work with.
There are no significant negatives, but there are a few things to be aware of. We have 3 teens so 2 had to sleep in the same bed, however, it was a king size. While it is not a remote location, the area is not highly developed. My daughter fell ill and it took about a 25 minute drive each way to get medicine for her.
Overall, great condo and would be happy to return.
We had a wonderful time in this condo at Solitude. Felt cozy and was well stocked with essentials. The ski slopes and rentals were just steps away. Club Solitude's got tubs and pool is one floor down. Great views from condo. Food at St Bernands was very good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous condo. There were 6 adults, and the unit accommodated all of us perfectly, while sitting on the couch watching the olympics to eating our meals at the large dining room table. The location was the best, and the garage parking an added plus. Also the gift basket upon arrival was a nice welcoming touch. If we return to Solitude, we'll definitely rent this unit again. Everything was perfect!
My family has been to Solitude nine times and this was by far the nicest unit we've ever rented. Not only is the unit beautiful and comfortable, it is extremely well equipped--the owner thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable. Normally we have to purchase the basics--laundry supplies, kitchen staples, etc..., but that was all taken care of for us, which we greatly appreciated. The whole rental process was seamless. When we visit Solitude again, we will definitely try to get this wonderful home. You can trust the description of this property; don't hesitate to rent this unit.
Excellent condo; great location in the same building as Club Solitude, very short stroll (ski out) to the lifts past a few village shops. Very livable with extras that make it like home (condiments, coffee, lots of flatware, many wine glasses, etc) - it is the owner's home. Excellent skiing, with no lift lines, great snow, and a variety of runs - ski locker on the main floor. Very quiet village - Solitude lives up to it's name. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Overall, made for an outstanding family vacation.
My home is just 13 miles from Salt Lake City up Big Cottonwood Canyon, in the center of the Solitude Village. As you drive up this amazing canyon the elevation changes from 4200 feet to 8300 feet at my home (above sea level), you can play golf and ski in the same day. The canyon drive is amazing summer or winter. A quick drive over Guardsman's Pass provides access to the Park City and the Heber Valleys during spring, summer and fall. I'm a fly fisherman so this central location provides easy access to The Provo, Weber, Big Cottonwood and a half dozen other rivers. There are many hikes in Big Cottonwood Canyon to remote lakes, mountain views and private lunch spots. From the Summit Lift of Solitude a few minutes hike puts you at the top of Alta's Grizzly Gulch where you can drop in and access both Alta and Snowbird Resorts. The Solitude/Brighton interconnect (Sol-Bright Trail) allows you to ski both resorts with a down hill ski in both directions. There's much more to keep you occupied and we can talk about it when you contact me.
