BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE ON CREEK

This location is perfect for those families that want to enjoy Pigeon Forge and during the day then retreat to quiet nights in the countryside. I don't like having to drive up and down mountains every day so this was the perfect spot for me. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked nice. The back yard is huge and there really are fish ready to eat your leftover bread. There were some cows across the creek that were fun to watch. Inside the house, there are 3 bedrooms with two of them larger than normal rentals. The master could sleep 4 kids in sleeping bags plus the parents. It's nice that there were enough rolls of toilet paper in each room that we didn't have to buy any. There was also a starter pack or two for laundry soap.
The kitchen had all of the regular amenities but my husband was impressed with the kitchen-aid mixer. My brother was most impressed with the pool table. There is a nice deck and I understand there was a wedding there. The backyard is definitely big enough for it.
Beds and pillows were really comfortable and the place was spotless. My husband's other favorite thing was that you can pull into the garage. Unloading all of my bags in December can be cold!
As you head back to the strip, you pass a gas station, pizza place and cute market within a mile. You also pass a Kroger which was our main grocery spot.
If you make a left out of the driveway through Wears Valley, it's a scenic ride to the south end of Gatlinburg.
The only thing I would caution if you are arriving at night, is to go slow as you are approaching because we drove right past it twice. It gets dark in the country at night :)
