Great vacation home located on the peaceful water's edge of teh Anclote River, with access to the Gulf of Mexico. Located within the heart of the historic Greek Community of Tarpon Springs, it is within minutes of the picturesque gulf beaches and the Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs. The home has 2 bedrooms, with one king and one full size bed, 2 full baths. Living area with cable TV, DVD, and VCR. Wi-Fi services The eat- in kitchen has everything you need for preparing those gourmet meals. The can be used as a 3rd bedroom for 2 - queen size sleeper sofa. A large covered screen lanai overlooks the Anclote River where you can enjoy the water views, dolphins, and shrimp boats of TAron or have a relaxing meal. The house will accommodate 4 adults comfortably although it will sleep up to 6. Amenities include washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and a gas grill. For your enjoyment, there are bicycles and kayaks. It is well furnished to meet your expectations with all linens and kitchen service.

About Owner/Manager

We are an active family with now two married sons. All of family enjoy fishing, diving, and the sandy beaches of the Fred Howard Park and Anclote Island. We reside only 40 minutes from this vacation home, and yet this has been such a great get away.

Why Owner/Manager chose Tarpon Springs

We chose this home as a vacation spot for our family so that we could enjoy those things that would bring lasting memories - fishing, boating, and relaxing in a picturesque setting. The setting is in a well established and safe neighborhood, close to the many activities within Tarpon Springs and Fred Howard Gulffront Park. It has been our get away place when we just needed downtime to relax, but also furnished it with all the comforts of home.

What makes this house unique

Vacationers can enjoy saltwater fishing or sunbathing from your own private dock. The setting offers picturesque views of the river and direct gulf access by boat. Other recreational activities include bike riding on the 37 mile Pinellas Trail, tennis, golf, diving, and deep sea fishing. Kayak around the many barrier islands of the Anclote River. It is within 2 hours of some the best amusement parks in the world - Disney World, Bush Gardens, etc. You will also enjoy the excellent choice of fine restaurants and shopping.
