About Nickie Foley
We are a family of four. I am from the Finger Lakes region of central NY and my husband grew up in St. Louis, MO. We live in Zambia where my husband works as a Foreign Service Officer. I am a teacher. We have two young children who have lived most of their lives overseas. We chose TI Park as our summer landing spot and if you know the St. Lawrence River or the Park, you know why! Our schedules only allow us to spend part of the season in the Park. Our children will live in new countries every few years but they will always be able to return to their TI Park community each summer- and we get to come too!
Nickie Foley purchased this cottage in 2012
Why Nickie Foley chose Thousand Island Park
My mother has spent summers at TI Park for a decade and we've loved to visit her. Each year we would mourn our departure, always longing for more time in the Park. When we realized TI Park was the only place we truly felt like we were on vacation, we decided to make it home.
What makes this cottage unique
Our cottage feels like a cabin with the pine and cedar interior and is a perfect blend of summer place and home. There is nothing fancy about our cottage, but there is a great deal of charm and comfort. We are able to have families visit us without concern for space and privacy. There are always things to do within the Park or just over either bridge (into Canada or the US)!
