Boca Grande is a seven mile long island in the gulf of Mexico accessible by bridge. Our condominium is only 50 yards from the water, has a great view of the gulf of Mexico, and is fully furnished.
The town is like Sanibel without all the people. There are no high rise buildings, and relatively few condominiums. Our condo is on the best beach on the island.
The sunsets are spectacular, shelling is terrific, with sand dollars plentiful most of the year. The dolphins are regular visitors, the fishing in front of the condo is very good.
For bird watchers, the island is home to numerous osprey nests, and eagle nests are off island. Tarpon fishing at the end of the island in spring-summer is world famous. Several excellent golf courses nearby. The quaint shops carry beautiful merchandise.
Our smoke-free condo has all new appliances, leather couches, new ceramic tile in most areas, new dining room furniture, and is newly painted. It is a first floor end unit so you have extra light and relaxing breezes.
No walkway behind master bedroom guarantees privacy. Parking is under the building. Two porches, one open, one screened. Most meals are eaten outside on the porch. Friends tell us a visit to the condo is like going to Hawaii, but for a lot less money.
Visitors regularly include celebrities. Katherine Hepburn came here for years. The Bush family has spent several Christmas holidays here, as have a number of movie stars. The island was used for the recent Denzel Washington movie 'Out of Time'.

The renovations to the kitchen and master bath were fantastic and enjoyed by our family. The unit was very clean. I was relieved that there were sand chairs available for our use, since we forgot ours. We had everything we needed and even perfect weather.
Dennis and I are from MN and Mich (UP) and currently live in Davenport, Iowa. We always think of ourselves as Florida people with one foot on the beaches at Boca! We love to walk the 7 mile beach and bike to the 'Inlet ' for breakfast by water every morning.
We visited Florida many times as my, Mom, Eddy, spent the winters in Pt Charlotte. One day, we visited the small island of Boca Grande and fell in love! We purchased our first Boca property in 1985.
We love the 'old Florida feel' with it's slower pace to enjoy all of nature's beauty. Rent bikes or a golf cart and do not use your car for the whole vaca and truely relax!
Our unit is on the 'sun' side of the building so you will be able to enjoy the Fl sunshine all day. We also have an end unit with it's own special views.
Guests enjoy cooking in our well stocked kitchen and using our fun, colorful Fiesta ware.
We 'fluff up' our unit on a regualr basis to insure your every comfort.
You must get the FRESH shrimp on Sundays- let me know you are intrested and I will share info with you!
