769 W. Crescent Drive, Palm Springs, CA is a classic mid-century modern home renovated to perfection. The home was part of the 2012 Modernism home tour, and was recently selected to be a Featured Home on the 2013 Modernism tour.
The original Mid-century modern architecture of this 1959 Alexander has been preserved while every detail has been meticulously augmented and upgraded into the 21st century.
6 bedroom, 5 bath, almost 4000 square foot home on a private half-acre lot. Located in the Las Palmas neighborhood of Palm Springs, often described as the 'Beverly Hills of Palm Springs'. We are dog friendly and within walking distance to downtown coffee shops, restaurants and much more.
You enter the property thru a walled and gated entry for complete privacy. The front door is a single pane of clear glass that pivots open into the entryway. Marble terrazzo floors, 12' high textured wall with LED up-lighting, Poulsen Artichoke pendant lamp and a very unique art-piece welcomes you into the house.
As you move towards the Great-room the first wing of bedrooms is to your right. Ahead of you is a floor to ceiling fireplace, 70' HDTV and a spectacular 6' sputnik lamp. As you enter the Great-room the first thing you see is the spectacular mountain views thru the three 12' glass sliding doors. Open the doors to create the ultimate in indoor/outdoor living.
In the 40' Great-room you find three custom designed lounge/seating zones and a dining area for up to 12. The kitchen is open to the great-room allowing complete interaction with friends and family no matter where you are in the rooms. True open concept living at its best.

The 60' saltwater pool features a stunning mountain view, a hand plastered ultra smooth finish, 3 fountain jets, built-in seating and tanning shelves. The perfect place to relax and enjoy.
A 12-person spa overflows into the pool creating a beautiful waterfall effect. A perfect place to relax in the evening while watching the stars.
On the far side of the pool are 3 queen-size outdoor lounge beds. The perfect place to curl up for an afternoon nap, read a book, watch the kids play in the pool or to get some sun. It's like having your own private resort! In addition there is a raised tanning area with chaise lounges for additional seating or a change of pace.
The east wing of the house face the pool/mountain views and features a covered veranda with plenty of seating. A great place to get out of the sun. Outdoor plugs and WIFI are available so bring your iPad or laptop if you need to catch up with the rest of the world. Built-in outdoor heaters keep the things toasty in the evenings if it gets chilly.

The 5th and 6th bedrooms are in the East wing of the house, offering a little more privacy but still a part of the fun. Each features King size beds, private bathrooms, HDTV, 600-thread count sheets. iPhone/iPod docking, Blu-ray/DVD/CD and more. Bedroom #5, in addition to a king size bed, has two sofas that convert to full size beds. Perfect for kids under 12. Bedroom #6 has its own private patio and a private outdoor shower.
There are 5 bathrooms plus two outdoor showers. All feature floor to ceiling Italian Carrara marble with feature walls of hand-made Heath tile. Dornbracht faucets, Duravit vanities/toilets/tub, Grohe rain-head shower panels...all the very best available. All bathrooms feature no thresh-hold walk-in showers for easy access.

Couldn't ask for more from a weekend stay in Palm Springs (except perhaps an extra day or more). The place is exactly as described. And Scott the manager is super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.
Just back from an amazing week at this wonderful house in Palm Springs.
Group of 11 of us travelled to Palm Springs for my 50th birthday and we could not have had a more amazing time. The house is extremely well appointed with everything we could have wanted. The layout of the house is excellent for being together as a group but also has lots of space if you want some time alone. Every bedroom has a private outdoor space and the outdoor shower by the pool was a nice treat.
The pool and spa were excellent and the tanning shelf with chairs was very comfortable. The outdoor fire pit was great for cool Palm Springs evenings. There were lots of umbrellas that could be used in multiple areas and there was also shaded areas to get out the sun. The backyard and pool area was sunny all day and it was so relaxing that it was difficult to leave even to do the short walk downtown.
The location of the house is excellent. Short walk to downtown and the neighbourhood is wonderful for walking or running. We rented 4 bikes for the week so it was also a great area to go for bike rides.
From start to finish the property manager Scott was amazing to deal with. He was very patient with my numerous calls, emails and texts. Thanks Scott!! He was very attentive and provide great information on the house, caterer recommendations and very anything or everything about Palm Springs.
The house is well equipped with multiple fridges, dishwashers and every imaginable plate, dish, utensil, glass, kitchen tool, appliance, etc. Don't buy extra sugar or spices as many are already there!
This place was great for a large group of friends wanting to come to Palm Springs but would also be great for families, extended families, etc.

Exceptional property in a superb neighborhood within easy walking distance to town. We had 10 of us together for a family trip and had such a great experience at the house that we never left to check out town. The house is dialed and totally turnkey plus the manager, Scott, was great! Highly recommended!
You won't be disappointed by this rental. We had an amazing time and didn't want to leave. It's in a nice quiet and private area. The home is very secure and safe. It has everything you could need. We have rented quite a few luxury rentals in PS and most homes have a little of this and a little of that. The kitchens are missing some things and the laundry is always lacking. We like some things about a home, but not other things. However, we loved everything about this place! This home has a gourmet kitchen (and catering kitchen/outdoor kitchen as well). If you want to bake cookies, you can. If you want to have a dinner party, not a problem. If you want cocktail hour, it's snap! You are set-up for everything and anything. The laundry systems are nice and clean and there are two. You can tell that everything was done with high quality finishes and the owner has a great sense of style. It's such a fun and fabulous place to stay.
Scott, the manager is wonderful. He answers any questions you may have immediately on his phone. He's great with kids and has a great personality. Our daughter loved him. He was patient and speedy when we locked ourselves out. Whoops! He also gave us a late night recommendation for a drugstore run that was urgent. The communication with him is spot on. He is the best manager we have ever had in a rental.
We have already booked our next stay!
FABULOUS FABULOUS!!!! The home is unreal and we got VIP treatment 24x7 by Scott the property manager. We were there with a group of girls and everyone was just blown away by how gorgeous the house was and all of the attention to detail around every corner. I do not think there is anything this house is missing and you can tell the owners have put so much thought into making it just perfect. The location of the house is absolutely perfect as well. Many mornings we would walk to downtown to get coffee or breakfast and then at night we could take a taxi to go to dinner and it was super cheap and easy. Scott also was able to give us fantastic restaurant recommendations! We all left the weekend thinking up reasons to get us back there ASAP!
The home, Property Manager (Scott), and Location, are all 5 Star. The pictures represent the home perfectly and has every amenity one could possibly desire. Multiple dish washers, and industrial Ice Making Machine, more Kitchen accessories and tools than you probably have at your own home. Oh and you can move the umbrellas around the pool to create shade as the sun moves over the sky. The mountain backdrop is beautiful. Scott also provided restaurant suggestions during our stay all of which were excellent. Highly recommend this property!!!
