The detached holiday house is located at the outer part of a park complex and backs onto a conservation area. It offers enough room for up to 11 people. The villa has an inviting lobby, 4 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms, a beautiful living/dining room, a completely arranged and equipped kitchen, a comfortable family room with glass sliding door to the terrace. The pool is located there (can be heated by request) with divan beds and dining facilities: dining table and chairs, naturally everything screened in, it heads to the south, which makes the place sunny all day long and offers a fantastic view of the natural reserve. In case you want to withdraw from the sun, that is no problem either. The protected, roofed-over terrace invites to relax and have a meal or snack in the open. You can also use the washing machine and a dryer in the laundry area leading to the double garage. The house is completely air conditioned and features a safe (for your valuables and papers) as well as an alarm system.

Some of these are: Disneyworld – Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Pleasure Island, Discovery Island, Planet Hollywood, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach – Sea World, Discovery Cove (swimming with dolphins), Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, Gatorland, Church Street Station, Arabian Nights and Medieval Times (Dinner Shows), Oldtown, Airboat rides, huge flea markets, outlets, golf courts and many more. There are delicious steak houses, family friendly buffet restaurants, low-priced all-you-can-eat restaurants, fast food places, malls, drug stores, shopping facilities of all kinds and so on. They are all reachable within a few minutes (you can walk it, if necessary). The world-famous attraction Cape Canaveral is reachable in about 35 minutes. Additional information about rental rates

  • Special rates can be arranged for last minute and long time bookings after consultation. The rental rates include all taxes, towels and bed linens. The departure cleaning fee is also included (in case of a stay of 7 nights and more). A cleaning fee of $98 will be charged for a booking of less than 7 nights. Pool heating (on request) $22 per day – to be paid with rental rate. A down payment of $300 is required to secure your reservation. It automatically confirms the booking. The rental fee has to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. After I've received the payment, I will send you all necessary information.
  • A security deposit does not have to be paid in advance! A security deposit of $250 will be held over an authorization of your credit card through my management, due to any damage that may occur during your stay. It will be canceled after your departure and satisfied inspection of the house.
  • A booking cancellation will only be accepted in writing, not verbal or by phone. In case of a cancellation the following conditions apply: 12 or more weeks before arrival - $98 cancellation fee, 8 - 12 weeks before arrival - loss of half of down payment, 4 - 8 weeks before arrival - loss of the down-payment, within the last 4 weeks before arrival - no repayment. If the renter breaks up his stay earlier, he still has to pay the full rent price. No refunds will be given for any unused days. I recommend a travel cancellation insurance.

Notes: You will find a modern, fully equipped kitchen (with a kitchen niche and a beautiful view to the pool and natural landscape) - for all your cooking needs: stove with glass ceramic field, oven, cooker hood, microwave oven, mixer, toaster, coffee maker, dish washer, 24x dinnerware, fridge with freezer and 'ice-maker' - to make delicious ice cold drinks, aso. There is a 'shredder' in the sink. Please - only fill it with soft left-over food. Pool area with roofed-over terrace is screened in. It includes a large table with 6 chairs and a small table with 2 divan beds and two stools. Pool heating is on request and for a surcharge. Dining facilities: in the kitchen – 6 places/ in the dining room – 8 places. Double garage with 2 parking spaces in the driveway (parking is not permitted on the sidewalks). 2 children car seats and 2 beach chairs can also be found in the garage. Brand new carpet since 03/08!

The house is ideal for families with children, family reunions (grandparents, parents, grand children) - but also for friendly families that want to spend their wonderful vacation time together.The villa is great for business people, too (congress, conventions, fairs, exhibitions, aso.)! Pets my be allowed if required!

It`s time to relax!: After an exhausting day at an amusement park, you can enjoy a break 'at home' at the illuminated pool at night with a romantic atmosphere! Our clean and lightly decorated holiday home offers all comforts of a true home at the price of a hotel room! You will definitely enjoy every minute, experience the unforgettable and recreate wonderfully!

Golf: To all Golf players! The vacation home has a top location to several Golf Courses. You will surely find your 'favorite' place, too. My management now uses 'Kissimmee Guest Services' for all their discounts on tickets and other things such as golf. Just mention you are staying in a '----' (I´ll give you the name) rental property and they will give you a discount. They have various offers. I`d give you a tel.no. , which you could call - in advance - to find out their rates.

My family has rented this property twice already. Once in 2003 and again in 2008. We have been very well pleased with the service from the management staff and everyone else involved with our vacation planning. The home is very well kept, plenty of space for everyone, very convenient to all of the theme parks and easy access to malls for shopping, grocery stores and anything else you would need to locate. The only things we had to bring from home were our clothes. With all the shopping areas around, we just bought our food from the local grocers. It is so nice to be able to be in a setting that keeps you as close to a home setting as possible as opposed to a sterile motel/hotel room with limited space. We have stayed on-site at a couple of the hotel/motel resorts before, and I will NEVER do that again. Our complaints about the resort facilities were that the noise level is always a problem all night long, lack of privacy due to being able to hear everything that is going on around the area another problem, having to share the pool facilities with a couple hundred people and pretty much a captive audience to the terribly high prices for food and drinks at these sites. Susan's home gave us the freedom of having our privacy and being able to eat whatever we wanted (take out or cook). We planned our days carefully to get full days of fun. There was never any question of neighborhood noise there and we met several of the neighbors and everyone was extremely nice. The next trip we plan to Orlando area again will certainly be another stay at Susan's house for my whole family. My family still talks about it and wants to know when we are going back. I have 3 adult children ages 34, 32, and 28 and the 2 older have 3 of the most beautiful grandchildren for me anyone could ever wish for. Susan's home works out perfect for us as it gives us an opportunity to spend quality time together without having to find a "common place" to meet if we all stayed at different places. My three sons and their families, my sister, her hubby, daughter, and grandson as well as myself and hubby had plenty of living space and comfort at Susan's. I just wish I could come to Orlando again this fall/winter, but my hubby's job is short-handed and won't let him take more than 2-3 days at a time, so maybe this spring we will be able to come back. Thank you Susan for keeping "our house" always ready for occupants. Hopefully soon, we will be those occupants. I love this home.

My family and I stayed at this villa during our vacation in August 2008. We all had nothing but good things to say about this home. We were so comfortable, we were not in each other's faces all of the time because the home was so spacious. We also enjoyed the indoor screen pool very much which was a plus. Susan and the staff were very professional and helpful. They answered all of our questions with no probelms and replied to my inquiry quickly which was impressive.

The property was clean and well maintained. The decors were kind of out dated but that was fine since the home was very comfortable. It was like a home away from home. Overall we will definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Our family stayed at the Meadowood Home in August 2009. Location of the house is good as it's close to the airport, Disney and other attractions. The house is excellent. It could easily accommodate 11 people. It equipped with everything you need. It's very clean, neat and well decorated. The own swimming pool was great aw well. Everything was just as promised. Susan and the management company were very easy to deal with. We'd like to stay in "our" house next time and recommend it to our friends as well."
Owner's Response: This family enjoyed their stay in "their" home this summer. They found everything just as I promised. That`s another proof that I tell the truth about all the details mentioned on my website. I am also always happy to hear that I - and my management - are easy to deal with. We really try our best! This House Was By Far the Best We Ever Rented

We rented this house for a week with our friends for a Scrabble Tournament in Orlando and it was perfect to accommodate all our friends. It was nicely decorated, plenty of room for us all, and of course the pool and grill and patio area was just the icing on the cake. This house, along with the company of our friends rates at the top of our "All Time Favorite" vacations. If you check this our for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
Owner's Response: As you can read, my vacation home is also great for a bunch of friends going to a special occasion. They enjoyed themselves, especially the pool and patio area - and BBQ-ing together! I was very happy to hear that my house rates at the top of my guests "All Time Favorite" vacations - with their friends!

Happy in Orlando

We stayed at Susan's Orlando property in March 2009. We had a great time and the property suited our needs entirely. The home is very large and could easily sleep 10 people. The pool was great. The location is excellent as it is reasonably close to the airport and the access to the toll road made getting to DIsney and other attractions very good. There is shopping, golf, and recreation close by and there is internet at McDonalds within 1 mile and at Starbucks. Susan and the rental agent were very easy to work with. Everything was as advertised and promised. This was the first experience I had with Home Away and I was skeptical. After our experience I would definitely recommend the Meadowood Home as a great vacation spot for a large family.
Owner's Response: I was very pleased with my guest`s review and to hear that everything was just as they awaited - and even better. As my guests mentioned, my home is a great spot for a small - as well for a large family.
