Charleston Style Townhomes Near Downtown Wilmington

For those of you that may be stressing about finding the perfect place to celebrate a graduation from UNCW, look no more! My daughter graduated this past Mother’s Day weekend (May 2013). We had four generations attending; my 90 year old grandmother, my parents in their 70s and my immediate family of four. I thought of the beach, but two of her three ceremonies were first thing in the morning and I worried of crossing the bridge from the beach in time! This home is minutes from the RiverWalk and from UNCW, so it was perfect. This beautiful Charleston style home is complete with two townhomes. My parents and grandmother took one side and my immediate family took the other. The best part was the English style gardens in the backyard that quickly became our family living space. We could eat and chat together as my daughter decorated her cap for the “big walk” and we completed the space with a large congratulations banner strung between the homes.
The homes are beautifully decorated and the owner ensured we wanted for nothing. The small things mean so much! We arrived with our luggage and food for the weekend and everything else you can think of was provided. UNCW should really showcase this home for families looking for a wonderful place to create great graduation memories. My thanks to the owner and her friend down the alley that helped us in a pinch!! I stumbled on the perfect place and you should too!
