We landed at Tampa airport at around midnight, so we did not get to the holiday villa until around 1:30, so it was a quick refreshing brew and bed and a great night's sleep in a really comfortable bed. The next morning allowed us to explore what would be our holiday home for the next three weeks. On closer inspection, the villa was very well stocked with all you were going to need for the next three weeks, to allow you to fully enjoy your holiday.
Their was a gas powered (big) barbeque outside under the canopy on the rear of the property, poolside. (This was going to get some use over the next three weeks). The photo's of the villa that we had seen pre-booking, were a very good accurate description of the villa and anyone who has seen these phots, be assured that they are a life like likeness.
The pool was very clean and was maintained on a regular basis (by a young man, who was some eye candy, my daughters assured me) ! There is everything that you will need in the villa, whether you are looking to dine out or alternatively decide to dine in ... very impressed
The property is well maintained and the air conditioning was imperative, especially for us Brits who are not used to the Hot Humid weather. Washer & Drier, very useful and you can take half as many clothes and wear and wash for the later weeks of your holiday and buy some new purchases at the Outlet Malls.
The actual location of the villa is second to none, whether you are wanting to visit the parks (Disney, Universal, Sea World etc) or shop at the Designer Outlet malls, the location of the house is spot on. Also a Massive Walmart is less than a mile away from the villa on the 27 North. If it ain't in this shop.... it does not exist!
The 192 is literally a mile away and there are loads of nice Restaurants on the 192. Our faves being - Carabbas, Outback, Orlando Ale House, Red Lobster, to name a few. Most of these places do have some sort of "Happy Hour" and it is advisable to fill up early .... save yourself some dollars, and then back for cheap (Supermarket) booze back at the villa. There is a Fantastic Steak House called "Manny's Chophouse" this is about 15 miles on the 27 south at Haines City .... The Nike Principle comes in when you think about eating here ..... "JUST DO IT" ! Good Food also at Applebees less than a mile from the villa on the 27 south.
Owners were Fantastic, any queries answered promptly, and loads of notes around the villas with tips. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to all!
