The main house has been beautifully restored to its turn of the century feel – burnished hardwood floors, wood-burning stove, and French country kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms, a living room, separate dining room for entertaining with expansive French doors to patio, and two full baths. There is a separate large artist’s cottage, which serves as a studio and ideal project space. Another large and newly remodeled cottage sits adjacent to a large heated swimming pool. Cable and high speed internet. Walk to village and train. Enjoy our bicycles to visit the beach our tour the back roads. We also have a small collection of Long Island, California, and Italian wines that we invite our guests to enjoy.
Adjacent to the property are horse pastures, preserves, and wooded areas. This is the former residence of two well-known artists and was a popular gathering place for Jackson Pollock and and other artists in his circle. The home and grounds are imbued with their sensibilities, and provide a warm and welcoming environment. Some of the best abstract expressionist paintings of the former owner Joseph Stefanilli still adorn the walls and complement the property's charm.

Why Ron Katz chose East Hampton
We fell in love with this property the minute was saw it. It was overgrown and everything was in disrepair, but its intrinsic beauty was unmistakable. We have spent years restoring it and returning it to its traditional charm and ambiance.
What makes this house unique
This home is like a comfortable sofa, you don't want to leave it. We especially like being able to walk to our favorite shops and restaurants, and strolling home (instead of driving) after a lovely dinner out and a bottle of our favorite Long Island or Italian wine.
