Los Gigantes is situated on the south west coast of Tenerife. The village is dominated by the famous cliffs, the Giants, from which the village gets its name. Next to the beach is the harbour, where you can organise boat/fishing trips. The local tennis centre (a 2 minute walk) is the focal point of the village. Whether or not you play tennis it makes an ideal swimming and sunbathing area. Also available at the tennis centre you can book walking tours around the Island with Hans. The natural sea water pool is a 2 minute walk, and then taking the footpath you arrive in Puerto Santiago, which has a small beach, plaza and bars. Playa de la Arena - approx 15 minute - walk has its famous black sand beach (Blue Flag award for the last 15 years!), and some good restaurants. A 2 minute walk takes you to the local bus stop, from where you can visit the whole Island.
