2 bedroom apartment, sleeps 3/4, in beautiful location in Valletta

Newly furnished fully air conditioned 6th floor apartment in one of the most beautiful parts of Valletta, the capital city of Malta. The apartment forms part of a recently restored building, parts of which date back to the late 1700 and early 1800s. The street in which the apartment is situated and the surrounding area has enormous character and is only 2 minutes away on foot from the main shopping centre and close to various good pubs and restaurants.

The accommodation is in the form of an open plan kitchen/living and dining area, 2 bedrooms (main double bedroom with en suite shower room), bathroom and large (50 sq/m) terrace. The views of the historic Grand Harbour are gorgeous. The large terrace is ideal for entertaining or just lounging while enjoying the view.

Facilities include lift, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer, LCD TV, cable with over 30 channels, and internet. Laundry and cleaning service is also available upon request.

Valletta Apartment

A comfortable apartment, very well situated for exploring Valletta and the rest of the island. The apartment was a clean and well-equipped, and we received very good customer service from the owner. There are wonderful views from the roof terrace

I have already recommended the apartment to several friends.

There are two bathrooms so the it might be suitable for a family with a teenage child, or a party of two or three people. The single bedroom is quite small compared to the large double room. There is a lift, but there is a short flight of stairs up to the apartment after getting out of the lift, so the apartment would not be suitable for someone in a wheelchair.

There is very good public transport in Malta, and so the apartment would suit tourists without a car.

One useful addition to the equipment would be a hairdrier!

A Great Place To Stay

This is a super apartment. Well fitted out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Both bedrooms are of a decent size and the "galley" style kitchen is well equipped. Nice lounge/diner area with direct access onto the rooftop terrace with its lovely views.

The listing of the property is accurate. It was clean and well maintained. We had a couple of minor problems that were handled very quickly and did not adversely impact on our holiday.

On our arrival we were met by the owner James and the property manager Tamsin. We were shown around the apartment and provided with all the information we needed to settle in, including a list of James' recommended eating places.

We had a great time in Valletta and the apartment was part of that.

For anyone visiting Valletta for the first time bear in mind that the city has steep streets and lots of connecting steps between streets so it's not the easiest place to get around if lots of walking causes you a problem.

A second home

Fantastic apartment! Our party consisted of 3 adults and this apartment was just perfect for what we needed. It was very clean, spacious and well equipped with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, towels etc and had a lovely terrace. Had two bathrooms which was great, although only thing I would say is the main bathroom could benefit from a shower curtain. All contact with the owner and his family was excellent. The apartment was also very central with plenty of shops, markets, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. For week stay would suggest buying two six packs of the large water bottles from the shop, for nearest one turn left when exiting apartment then take the second left and it's just up that street. However for bread and anything not in that shop just keep going up that street to merchant street and there is a little shop in front on the right. Try the market just the next street up from the apartment for meat, fruit and veg. For attractions the Co Cathedral, Saluting Battery and Upper Barakka Gardens are less than 5 mins walk, and you can actually see the Saluting Battery from the terrace! Main bus station only about 10 minutes walk away too. For the bars definitely visit San Paulo Naufrago which if you turn right when exiting the apartment and then take the steps on the right it is near the top. And for restaurants we absolutely loved La Mere (Indian, Arabic, Mediterranean) and Elia (Greek), both on Merchants Street. Overall had a great stay and would absolutely love to return.

Fantastic Location

First of all the photographs do not really do justice to the over all apartment as it is more modern than I expected and there are additions to enhance comfort.

I stayed in the single room to give my friend more space and it was quite comfortable as there is air-con throughout plus both bathrooms were spacious.

The outside area seems bigger and has a couple of sun loungers and a much needed umbrella for shade.

We managed some walks in the North, South and across to Gozo using the fabulous & easy bus system which for 3.15 euros for a 7 day ticket is an absolute bargain. You get a lot for your Euro including good, generous lunches & dinners.

Thanks very much for a relaxing holiday, I am sure your future guests will love it as much as we did.

Perfect Apartment in Valletta

The website promises great views of the harbour and that is exactly what you get. Daytime and night time the views are super and the terrace is really spacious – in the summer it would be ideal for sun bathing and eating alfresco. The apartment is well furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen. As for location, the apartment is within walking distance of the main areas of Valletta city, with a fine selection of shops, bars and restaurants, but in a quiet mainly residential street (St. Ursula Street). It is also well situated for visiting many places of interest, This was our first visit to Valletta and would certainly not hesitate to visit Valletta and this lovely apartment again in the future. Just around the corner from the apartment is the San Paola Naufrago wine bar (from front door of apartment building turn right, and then right again and up the stepped street) -a great bar with very friendly staff and we called in most days and evenings. We had a brilliant holiday in Valletta – lovely city, friendly people and fabulous apartment!

PERFECT APARTMENT !

2 friends stayed at this apt end January for the Baroque Music Festival in Valletta who was himself a memorable event for us. This apt completely suit our needs. The location is very central, with all amenities, sightseens, attractions, bar, shop and restaurant in short walking distance. And the street is incredible quiet specially in the night, and pretty safe. Bus station also isn't far away. The apt himself is completely renovated, spacious and very well equipped and furnished. All you need during your holidays is there. Tv sat, internet connection, washer, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, oven, microwawe, boiler, fridge and freezer, plenty of hot water and ac/heat, there are enough plates, dishes, glasses, and kitchen utensils, but we ate most of the time outside. The beds are also hard and confortables. Also there is a large selection of book and guide books if you need to know more about Malta history who is really umbelievable. Also the landlady provided us with a list of good restaurants, bars and any other necessary informations to make your stay more enjoyable and confortable . The top is the terrace overlooking the harbour. Despite we hadn't the possibility to use it much times because January, this terrace is worth the cost of the rental. The only suggestion I need to addresse to the owner is to provide a better quality sheets on the beds and 1 towel more x person and more soft ( there was only 2 for the entire week and a bit rough ). James, the owner meet us at the arrival on time and when we left he was so kind and escort us by car until the bus for the airport ( it was raining ) . He also come asap when we need him for some extra helps with the electronics. We highly recommend this apt to everyone who need a perfect stay in Valletta.
