Photos and Description of the La Val vacation farmhouse rental

In the picturesque hamlet Ciablun in Wengen, 3 km from the center of the locality, there is a quiet, sunny, renovated farm house. On the second upper floor, there is the large, rustic apartment (75 m²) for rent. It has a kitchen, a dining room, a bathroom and 3 double bedrooms. The house is located close to many hiking trails, and there is a large area around it, where you can sunbath and relax. The playground is available for your children, who can also play with our animals (cows, hens and cats). You receive from us daily: fresh milk, vegetables from the garden, and eggs from our hens. Our farm is also ideal for your winter vacation. The skiing regions Kronplatz and Alta Badia can be reached in ca. 15 minutes by car (winter equipment). Our farm house is located between two of the most famous vacation regions in South Tyrol. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of activities for you. Moreover, we offer local dishes in our small restaurant.

The smallest and most quiet locality in the region of Alta Badia is located in an unbelievably beautiful setting, on the foot of the Kreuzkofel mountain group, 1353 m above the sea level. It unfolds in the middle of the green and still untouched wood and meadow, away from climbing arrangements. La Val offers numerous possibilities for hiking and excursions, as well as a relaxing vacation for the whole family. On one hand, La Val offers a wonderful natural landscape, on the other hand, it surprises with its architecture and craftworks. Local handcraft products can be visited in the trade zone Pederoa. The wonderful meadows Armentara and Rit, which are located in the Natural Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags, are a special attraction. Agriculture and tourism are closely connected in this cultivated landscape. Customs and traditions are also very important in our village.

Ski: La Val is part of the tourist Alta Badia consortium. The Alta Badia skiing carrousel can be reached easily by car (9 km). Moreover, there is a ski bus service at your disposal, for free. From La Val you can easily reach the Kronplatz - Plan de Corones (9km) as well. Both skiing centers are part of the famous ‘Dolomiti Superski’ and have a large number of slopes. This is a winter paradise for everybody, from beginners to professionals. ‘Dolomiti Superski’ can be used with a ski pass for 12 skiing regions, with 1.220 km of slopes. The skiing carrousel is the number 1 in the world. La Val has something to offer for the non-skiers as well: natural toboggan runs and many hiking trails in the middle of this winter paradise. You can enjoy yourself as you like it. In the neighbourhood, there are also several cross country skiing centers and other arrangements, so that you can spend a winter day without getting bored. All in all, here you can find modern winter sports and an idyllic atmosphere.

Nette Vermieter, saubere Wohnung, tolles Essen: Unsere Ferienwohnung in der Jausenstation war trotz Navi nicht leicht zu finden, der Weg zu dem in 1.600 Meter hoch gelegenen Haus war für mich als totaler Flachlandtiroler zuerst gewöhnungsbedürftig. Aber die Lage entschädigte für alles. Zauberhafter Ausblick auf das Dorf La Val, auf die Berge und die Almen. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und alles neu, uns fehlte aber ein Herd. Öfters gaben wir der vorzüglichen Küche (der Vermieter und gleichzeitig fabelhafte Koch der Jausenstation) gegenüber unserer Selbstverpflegung den Vorrang. Die Zimmer waren top sauber, die Betten mit schnuckeliger Bettwäsche (kein Hotel-Weiß) bezogen. Die Einrichtung war praktisch und trotzdem gemütlich. Die im Inserat angebotenen Eier und die Milch gab´s nicht - es waren zu wenig Tiere auf dem Bauernhof. Aber Tiere füttern ist für Kinder jederzeit drin. Der Spielplatz besteht aus einer Rutsche, einer Schaukel, einem Sandkasten und einem Tischkicker. Es gibt eine Liegewiese mit Sonnenliegen und einem urgemütlichen Biergarten mit einem Ausblick, der einen sentimental werden lässt. Zwei alte Kirchen zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Domizil ist etwas für Familien, Auton dringend notwendig. Sämtliche Hauptwanderwege und schöne Orte wie Brixen sind innerhalb von Fahrtzeiten bis zu einer Stunde zu erreichen. Urlaub dort jederzeit wieder - schon um das Fleisch aus eigener Produktion mit Pfifferlingen zu genießen...
