Centrally located condo on the beach

Our condo is located at Cayman Reef Resort in the heart of the action on Seven Mile Beach. Everything you need is within walking distance. The condo itself is located between the beach and the pool and you will enjoy beautiful views and amazing sunsets from the living room and its patio. The Resort boasts a pool, a lighted tennis court, and plenty of green space. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom as well as a queen size sofa bed in the living room. There are flat screen TVs in both the living room and the bedroom and WIFI internet throughout the unit.

We have paid attention to detail to ensure that you feel at home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the basics as well as some nice extras such as a coffee maker, set of wine glasses, serving dishes and knife block to name just a few. We have added high quality bedding and towels to ensure you are comfortable in all aspects. We also want you and your valuables to feel secure so you will find a safe in the condo. The bathroom has been recently renovated and has a spacious, walk-in shower.

Our condo is located on a beautiful, wide section of Seven Mile Beach close to all amenities. Enjoy snorkeling directly in front of the complex and easy access to all other watersports (jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat, kayaking, etc) a short walk away at the Royal Palms beach bar. A visit to Cayman isn't complete without a visit to Stingray City. Tour operators will pick you up at the condo to take you to Stingray City or Scuba Diving. Also within walking distance is Cayman's newest development, Camana Bay, where you will find the cinema, shops, restaurants and a nice treat of ice cream or frozen yogurt. Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to downtown George Town.

As we live in the same complex, we offer you the additional benefit of being close by should you need anything. We include a welcome package of some of our favorite things to do on-island and where to find all of the necessities. We are also able to arrange babysitting should you require such services.

We purchased this condo in 2012 and really hope that you will enjoy Cayman and the Cayman Reef Resort as much as we do!

About Trinda

My husband and I are both Canadians but have been living in Cayman since 1999 and 2003, respectively. How can you resist living in a place with beautiful weather year round? We love the small town feel of Cayman and our 'Cayman family' while at the same time being able to enjoy all of the amenities that Cayman has to offer. Our son was born in 2011 and we look forward to many fun times with him in Cayman.

We also live at Cayman Reef Resort and really view this one bedroom condo as an extension of our home. We have many family and friends visit us from Canada and purchased this property in 2012 to have a near-by option for them.

What makes this condo unique

Anyone who has stayed at Cayman Reef will tell you one of their favorite things is the evening sunset and how people gather to watch the sunset on the beach each evening. We have beautiful views extending in both directions.

Car: not necessary

Our condo is located in the heart of the action with too many restaurants and bars within walking distance to name. You will also find a great variety with many options in both casual, good value dining as well as high end dining.

As for essentials, there are two supermarkets about a 15 minute walk away (in opposite directions), a wine/spirits/beer store across the road, and an ATM very close by.

Cars are driven on the left side of the road in Cayman which can be daunting to many North Americans. There are plenty of options for car rentals but most visitors choose not to rent a car and walk to most attractions or catch the bus.

Our first trip to the Grand Cayman Island!

We had a wonderful vacation at the Grand Cayman Island and exceptional accomodations. It was spacious, clean, and very near the beach and majority of attractions in the area. We did not rent a car and used the taxi, public bus transportation and walking to get where we wanted to go.

The condo was perfect for us as a couple. Everything was operational and the amenities that Trinda provides makes the transition to stay so easy! We enjoyed cooking as much as eating out at the restaurants! Groceries were easy to acquire except on Sundays! The restaurants are somewhat pricey but the food is excellent! Be sure to go to Coconut Joe's and XO's (for great pizza.) Take a Catamaran ride over to Rum Point too! Wonderful cruise experience with scenery and food!

This island location and the accomodations were the best! We loved it all!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

My family (myself, my wife and my 11 month old daughter) stayed at Trinda's condo for a week during February 2013. Everything was as advertised.

The Cayman Reef Resort is a great family friendly place. It was a great location right on Seven Mile Beach and the beach itself was absolutely fantastic and well kept. The complex was very nice and the condo itself was perfect. She keeps it well stocked with everything you would need (dishsoap, detergent, pots and pans, glasses, silverware, etc.). She even provided a crib, high chair and beach toys for my daughter. Whle Trinda has only owned the place for less than a year, she certainly has a knack for knowing what people want.

While you are there, keep you eye out for the huge iguanas roaming the property!
