Apartment in a 13th Century palace in the heart of Florence

We had a great time in Florence and in the apartment. I was traveling with my husband and our 22 year old daughter. The listing was accurate. The location was perfect for us! We wanted to be in the old part of the city and stay. We were close to many of Florences attractions.
Fabrizio was great! He picked us up at the train station and gave us a tour of Florence and while we were driving to the apartment. He walked us around the apartment so we would know where the stores and closest gelato could be found.
Fabrizio arranged for us to have a rental car for a day and was incredibly helpful! Fabrizio went out of his way to be helpful, if we needed him.
The apartment was clean! We cooked meals several times while we were there and everything worked well. The apartment was well stocked and we were pleased with everything.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends and family! We had a wonderful time! Gratzie Fabrizio!

This apartment is in a great location. It is a 10 minute walk from the Duomo and the Uffizi, close to great restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is clean, well-equipped and just as described. The owner is incredibly helpful -- he booked tickets for us at the Uffizi, picked us up at the train station at the beginning of our visit and dropped us off at the rental car location at the end of our stay, and showed us where the grocery store and other helpful shops were. The apartment is also charming. We would definitely recommend it to friends and relatives. You will be able to walk everywhere you want to go in Florence from here.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Fabrizio is an exceptionally helpful owner and picked me up and dropped me back at the airport which was a great help! I did not envy those people dragging their bags over the cobbles of Florence. Fabrizio also spoke excellent English and stressed that he was available on his mobile if we needed anything or if we wished to go on any tours. Sadly our schedule was already tightly packed so we couldn't go on these tours.

Fabrizio made sure that we had all we needed and that we knew our way around the flat, and was correct that the local restaurants were very good and reasonably priced (I found both Acqua Al 2 and Il Gatto il Volpe very good). The flat is exactly as shown.

The flat was clean and tidy, well equiped and in good condition. It is also in a fascinating old building. The flat was ideal for us as it was extremely central - only 100 - 300 yards to many of the historic sights of Florence. It was very nice to be able to get ice cream at the very nearby Vivoli (the best ice cream we found in Italy so far) and stroll a few yards to Santa Croce for example. Being so central meant almost no time was wasted getting to places and enabled us to pop back to pick things up or drop things off. The flat does not have outside space but that was not important at all to us as we were only in the flat to sleep basically. All the rest of the time we were out and about. It was very quiet there and we slept well.

When recommending this flat to others, all I would say is that it would probably suit 2-3 people better than any more people. Also, 1 bedroom is open to the rest of the flat on a mezzanine floor with the second bedroom built underneath. Parking is also going to be difficult at this flat, but for our trip we never needed a car (we visited Florence, Venice, Siena and Pisa quite easily, and quickly by train and bus).
