The adjoining field is great for the kids who want to run off a little steam. The garden is gently sloping with two areas to sit and enjoy the views.

Down Cottage is situated in an elevated position of Braunton enjoying far reaching views, boasting enviable privacy. The local area has much to explore and there is something for everyone. The village of Braunton is a short walk away with plenty of amenities, high street banks, churches and post offices. Close by is the renowned Saunton Golf Course and neighbouring villages of Georgeham and Croyde with their sandy beaches and local pubs. Ruda Holiday Park has great swimming facilities for children and adults alike. Exmoor is about a half hour's drive away and provides much sight seeing, walking and riding. The town of Barnstaple is approx 5 miles distant and offers a wide variety of social and leisure facilities, whilst providing access to the M5 motorway. Ilfracombe is a seaside town nearby and offers seasonal sea trips along the exmoor coast and beyond, however, times and booking requirements would need to be checked beforehand. The area is surrounded by natural beauty.
