About Contact Sue or Carolyn
Growing up in Western Kentuck my husband and I both fell in love with the history of Paducah and the rivers. We met and fell in love at a local coffee shop. That was 49 years ago and we are still in love. We now live on a 100 acre farm just minutes from the Inn where we raise Belted Galloway cattle.
Contact Sue or Carolyn purchased this condo in 2002
Why Contact Sue or Carolyn chose Kentucky Lake
I guess we were crazy but with our love of historic property, Paducah and the river this property just seemed perfect for us. Built in the 1800's these buildings started as individually owned businesses on the ground floor with living quarters upstairs. With the development of Malls the small town businesses dryed up and the buildings fell into disrepair. We felt we couldn't allow their further decline and in 1998 started an expansive renovation. We have been so blessed to be a part of the preservation of small town America. It was especially exciting to be featured on HGTV's 'Restore America', and to know that what has been done will be a part of history yet to come.
What makes this condo unique
Visit for a weekend and you will want to spend a lifetime waking up to sip coffee and enjoy the beautiful river. Take a stroll in the afternoon and explore the local antique stores and speciality shops, take in a movie at the Cinema or a Broadway Show at the Carson Center. The hardest part of your visit will be deciding which of the outstanding, locally owned restaurants to choose. From Gourmet dining to local coffee shops the choices are notable.
