We are a family from Vancouver with two little girls and are really looking forward to watching them grow up on the slopes of Whistler/Black comb.
We chose this property for its proximity to Black comb Mountain, where we spent our winters knee-deep in powder growing up. We also love whistler in the summertime, and it is great to be close to Lost Lake for our two girls, and the mountain bike trails. We also find this a great family location with easy walks to the village when you want to go out for the night, yet far enough away from the noise and the party when you feel like a quiet night in.
This unit definitely has that 'WOW' factor. The showpiece kitchen is an entertainer's dream with tons of counter space, breakfast bar and the unit has a fantastic open floor plan with high vaulted ceilings. We have made the home very comfortable for ourselves and our guests with a huge sectional sofa, big enough for the whole family and then some while enjoy a movie on the 43' plasma TV. The serene outlook to the trees from the balcony gives you that 'in the mountains' feel, and it certainly is nice to have a gas grill. The rooftop hot tub in the complex is perfect for apres ski, and enjoys fantastics views over Whistler.
