Our alpine style traditional Slovenian summer cottage with modern facilities is arranged over 3 floors, sleeping 6, plus we have one cot. The cottage's outside space includes a decked BBQ area, plus Chimney BBQ. The garden contains fruit trees and wine producing vines. Unlike many Slovenian properties it is fully enclosed with a gate, which is great for children. There are children's swing, playhouse, sandpit and various toys. The ground floor has a wine cellar and summer kitchen that keeps a welcome cool temperature on hot days. It is also equipped with a 1.8m pool table, dart board and table football for your use. The first floor consists of a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and living/dining space. Doors open onto the 1st floor balcony that overlooks the vineyard and the beautiful Prekmurje countryside.

Situated in the Goricka National Park in the North East Region of Slovenia called Prekmurje, our alpine style three storey cottage offers comfortable accommodation in a tranquil setting, just a short distance from the region's main town of Murska Sobota. Vaneca Cottage is juts 5 km from Terme 3000, a huge leisure complex that includes an 18 hole golf course, 22 indoor and outdoor pools of various depths and temperatures. There are slides, saunas and jacuzzis. Various health and beauty treatments available, plus lots of outdoor spaces in which to relax. It's open all year and good for all ages. The cottage provides a perfect base to explore the region, by cycling through the many pretty villages, takng in the sights of the area which has been named 'The sleeping beauty of Slovenia'. Another advantage of choosing Prekmurje is it's proximity to 3 other countries, making you within easy striking distance of Austria, Croatia and Hungary.

Aditional Facilities: Facilities include Satellite TV with English, German and Slovenian, DVD and Video player, Mini-Stereo system with Radio and CD. Board games, including chess, play station 1, Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4. Hair dryer, clothes airier and exterior rotary dryer. Wood burning traditional 'Hungarian' tiled oven for heating (wood supplied) and electric heaters. Bed linen, duvets and towels. Decked BBQ area with Chimney BBQ, patio table and chairs (seats 6), plus two sun loungers. Summer kitchen on ground floor includes 2 ring electric hob, fridge (good for keeping drinks cold and easily accessible from the garden) and washing machine. Cool box and picnic hamper, plastic crockery and cutlery. Cot includes bedding, high chair, bouncy chair, bottle steriliser and warmer. Smoke alarms and stair gates fitted.

Bicycles: We have purchased 6 bicycles for use by the guests staying at Vaneca Cottage. There are 1 Large men's bike, 1 women's bike, 3 medium mountain bikes, plus a small bike for children of around 6. Locks and helmets are provided, as are pumps and tools to make height adjustments. We also have baby seats that can be attached, plus a trailer bike that's great for small children. Please note that we are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur when using our equipment. The bikes and equipment must be used entirely at guests risk.

Smoking: Please note that Vaneca Cottage is non-smoking, however, smoking is permitted outside and ashtrays are provided.
