Ideally located on the 2nd floor directly above a pool and spa. It is great to start your day poolside with a cup of coffee or tea and a morning swim to invigorate you. Tile floors in Living, Dining and Kitchen. Carpeted in Bedroom. This unit is very comfortable and livable and escapes the 'over furnishing' of many of the units available in the complex, creating an openness and freedom of movement throughout. Recently furnished with all new 'Modern Style' but comfortable furniture, it features a new Black Leather Couch and Ottoman, White Leather Swivel Chair, Glass and Plexiglass Dining Set, new Pots & Pans/Cookware, Knives, and Dishware, Microwave, Blender, Coffee Maker & Toaster. Also New Queen sized Firm Pillowtop Mattress, and a new Kohler Toilet and shower door on the Shower/Bath. New Flatscreen TV with extended cable, High Speed Internet, Unlimited long distance within the U.S. , Studio quality Speaker System for your Ipod/Iphone/Mp3 Player. Air-conditioning unit is less than 5 years old. I love this condo, it is the 3rd that I have owned in this complex. The units are efficient but comfortable. The true gems are the Pools and Spas (6 Pools and 8 Spas within the complex), which are very well maintained and the Grounds which feature a park-like setting with old growth trees, towering Palms and plush greenery.
I own a restaurant in San Francisco and I bought this condo as a getaway from my often hectic life. It is the 3rd that I have owned in this complex since 2003. And it's pretty awesome, I love it. I am looking for a seasonal renter to share it with me.
I love Palm Springs and the Desert and this condo and it's amenities in particular. I have been coming here since the early 90's to enjoy the heat, relaxation, Pools/Spas and laid back lifestyle that drew much of Classic Hollywood to the area in 50's/60's.
The location above the pool is a real plus for me with this condo. The two other units I've owned in the complex required 'a walk' to the pool. Having the pool/spa right underneath the condo is great, makes me feel more like it's mine although it is a community pool. It's great to be able to look out the window and see who's there, or if it's empty and I can go down and have some personal time.
Located directly across from the Palm Springs Visitor Center, constructed in 1965 and designed by architects Albert Frey and Robson C. Chambers. It is considered to be a prime example of modernism in architecture.
Behind the Center is Mt San Jacinto State Park with the famous Tram that takes you 6000 ft up the mountain to the lodge and park which feature dining, spectacular views, hiking and even cross country skiing during the season.
Located on the North end it is just a short drive to downtown Palm Springs with all of the entertainment, dining and shopping options you could want, but far enough out of the hustle and bustle to afford for a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay, enjoying the many large pools and spas that dot the complex and the immaculately maintained park like grounds full of old growth trees and flowers.
