Tucked away between the aspens and pines in Colorado's breathtaking Blue River Valley sits a beautiful mountain home. Triple C Lodge has been a dream of ours for years, and we are so excited to share our mountain get-away with you. Our goal is to provide luxurious accommodations at an affordable price so you'll want to come back year after year.
Newly built and furnished in 2006, Triple C lodge is a 4800 square foot luxurious log home with everything you need for a mountain vacation. With four bedrooms + loft + bunk room, the home sleeps 15+. With three spacious levels, there is plenty of space for multiple families. Only six miles to Breckenridge and the ski slopes, our home offers guests luxury accommodations in a peaceful setting, for much less a night than in town.
When you first walk in your eyes are drawn to the wall of windows in the great room to the expansive views of Quandary Peak, one of Colorado's majestic 14,000 foot mountains. Relax by the gas burning fire in the great room under soaring ceilings and comfortable furnishings, or walk out onto the expansive wrap-around deck to enjoy the crisp air and beautiful views of the mountains.
Adjacent to the great room is the dining room that seats 8, plus four additional bar stools at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and everything you'll need to prepare your own meals.
The Master bedroom is off the great room with a King size bed, walk-in closet, and spa-like bathroom. French doors take you from the Master onto the deck where there is brand new patio furniture to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail
Downstairs on the lower level of the home is a walk-out basement where the 8X8 hot tub sits. A huge game room with a large flat screen tv, leather couches, pool table and wet bar make this space a great place for entertaining or just relaxing and watching tv. A second Master bedroom is on the lower level with en-suite bathroom. There is also a bunk room with twin over full bunk beds that is great for kids or singles. The laundry room with full size washer and dryer, and entrance from the two car garage round out the lower level.
On the top level is a large loft overlooking the great room. Here you'll find a full size bed with trundle and a sitting area. On either side of the loft are two additional bedrooms, each with King beds plus Twin Daybed and en-suite bathrooms.
Additional features of the home include gas grill, surround sound, wireless Internet, cable tv, and radiant heated floors throughout the home.
There are Six World Class ski areas all within a one hour drive from our home: Breckenridge (the closest), Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail, Beaver Creek and A-Basin.
Five outstanding Golf Courses are in the area with two of our favorites closeby: Breckenridge Golf Club, and the Raven at Three Peaks in Silverthorne.
Some of the best hiking is just steps from our home. The Trailhead for Quandary Mountain, Mohawk Lakes Trail, and McCullough Gulch are all less than five minutes away.
Breckenridge has so many things to do and so much to offer year round. All seasons offer shopping, town events, and gorgeous mountain views.
My husband and I live in Dallas, TX with our three kids, Chanley, Cameron and Christopher. Triple C Lodge was named after our children. I grew up skiing and coming to Colorado in the winter. When a family wedding brought us here in the summer of 2006, we realized it was even more beautiful here in the Summer. So we started coming to Colorado each summer when our kids were young to escape the Texas heat and spend time enjoying the beautiful mountains and all they have to offer.
Jill Cox purchased this house in 2012
We have vacationed in Breckenridge for several years both in the winter and summer. We found this jewel of a mountain home and knew when we first walked in it had the space, views, location and everything we were looking for. We are excited to get to spend time in the summer and a couple weeks in the winter with our family making lasting memories here. And we hope many other families will be able to enjoy its beauty as well.
I have yet to find a vacation home this spacious and spread out that can accomodate multiple families for an affordable price. The open layout on three levels adds to the functional use that several families can enjoy.
I surprised my husband with a weekend away in Breckenridge with 10 of his closest friends. The home was perfect! We could had 12 adults and all had enough room. We could have easily had a few others join. The house had everything we needed. We will be back again, hopefully this summer with the kids. I would recommend this house to any group of friends or family needing some time away.
The cabin was perfect for us. We just did a group trip to the mountains. We had a great time in Breckenridge during the day and then spent most nights at the cabin. It felt very private and quiet. The host was very responsive and helpful.
This house is awesome. Everything was as advertised. The veiw waa amazing. The renters are also very prompt to respond to emails and made themselves available during our stay. Over all a great experience. I would reccomend a 4 wheel drive vehicle due to ice and snow.
We stayed at the lodge for a late Christmas gathering with family. Arrived during a storm dumping 30" of snow but drive and porch were already cleared of snow-thank you! The house is huge! We had 8 adults, 4 kids and 2 babies and there was plenty of room for everyone. Nice sized kitchen and great pantry, cookware could be stocked a little better for the size of parties the place can accommodate! Only issues were there were dirty dishes in the cupboards, dirty countertops and a load of dirty towels in the washer. Discussed these with the owner and she said she would discuss with the cleaning crew.
2 families (10 total) enjoyed a wonderful 4-day stay at CCC Lodge. I was a little concerned that we were not staying in town, but my concerns had no validity once our vacation got underway. This beautiful home is 6 miles out of Breck, and was very convenient for our ski trip. We were all adults on this trip, and this spacious home easily accommodated us. If you have little ones you could sleep 14-16. I stayed in one of the 4 king-size bedroom/bath suites and the bed was very a comfy pillow top. Great retreat at the end of the day. The 2 single guys in our group enjoyed their own space in the Loft and in the lower level bunk room. This home has 4 full baths and 2 half baths, laundry, game room, lots of TV's and is open and very spacious. It's just as described on the listing, but is even more of a stunner in person. The views from every window make it all the more special. I loved looking out our bedroom at the beautiful pines, and drinking my morning coffee taking in the mountain views from the Great Room windows. The kitchen is very nice, well stocked, with plenty of room for group cooking plus a large pantry. Large dining room table, and bar served well for our big breakfasts and evening meals (saved a ton of money by eating in). In the evenings, the guys played cards at the game table, others played pool, and some just relaxed and watched TV. The hot-tub is a great plus to this house easily holding 6+. If you have a large group like us, recommend bringing a cooler for your cold beverages in case you bring groceries (which can eat up fridge space). Too, may need to purchase a bag of ice. We went through quite a bit, and I'm not sure of any ice maker that could have kept up. Unexpected surprises include board games and humidifiers in bedrooms as the air is super dry in the mountains, Needless to say this home has a big WOW factor, and we would come back again and again. Appreciated the cleanliness, great floor plan, and the TLC the owners have put into this new home. Owner, Jill, was very helpful and answered our questions promptly. Highly recommended and VERY affordable. A 4-WD vehicle is pretty much a necessity in any mountain area during the winter. We hit a blizzard on our drive from Denver to Breck, and would not have made it otherwise.
Thanks for great memories CCC Lodge.
CCC Lodge is within a mile of some of the best hiking Breckenridge has to offer. During the winter, the ski lifts are only 7 minutes away. Breckenridge has so many things to do, depending on the season. Winter has skiing, sledding, skating, snowshoeing. Summer has golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, horsebackriding. Both seasons have shopping, town events, and gorgeous mountain views.
