We loved this safe, quiet gated community. The grounds are immaculate and it has a warm friendly atmosphere. It is in an ideal location within walking distance to almost every amenity you could ask for as well as quick access to Lido and Siesta Key beaches and the many local arts and theater attractions.
Our condo offers a quiet top floor picture-perfect lakeside view, beautiful dark hardwood flooring, solid wood furniture, and a new modern kitchen that give the unit a 'home-away-from-home' feel. We enjoy the mornings with a fresh coffee on the lanai or relaxing at what we see as one of the best pool areas in all of Sarasota!
"Steve's condo was absolutely lovely. I loved the musical decor, and the condo was so nice and neat when I arrived. I would highly recommend this condo for its comfort and warm feeling of a home away from home. The deck that overlooks the pond was such a nice place to have coffee in the morning and enjoy the birds that seem to love it there as much as I did!!"
We rented this condo for the month of February. As we walked in, we noticed that the place was well maintained and everything was shiny and clean. The condo was well equipped, TV in every rooms. Electric BBQ in the screened in lanai which overlooked the pond. The place felt like home, very comfortable and spacious. We had an issue with the phones which were on the premises when we arrived. I sent him an email to the owner to simply inform him that these were failing. Next thing I know, the phone is ringing and the owner was informing me that new phones were being purchased and sent to the condo by courier and that I should receive these in a few days. Unbelievable the service we got. We were also in walking distance from the Publix grocery store and three liquor stores, as well as fine restaurants. I highly recommend this place. Very happy with owner, facilities and location. We'll appointed condo with superior facilities to most of the area. Very close walking for groceries and great Mexican restaurant. Owner looks after you very well.

This is a beautiful condo in Serenata, situated on the top floor on the lake side. Although there is no elevator, we found the steps up to the third floor to be easily navigated. The condo is nicely laid out and well equipped. Everything is relatively new, from the 3 high definition TVs to the major appliances. The electric BBQ on the screened lanai is excellent! The location of the complex is perfect - within walking distance of a very large Publix grocery store and close to shopping, restaurants (the Lazy Lobster is one of our favourites) and many Sarasota tourist attractions (not far from the Ringling Museum.) There is also a very large indoor mall under construction a few miles east on University Parkway (due to open in October 2014.) The swimming pool is beautiful, clean and always kept at about 86 degF. The fitness room is very well equipped. Most important, the owner, Steve, is always ready to help sort out any minor problems that may crop up. Having stayed at many VRBO properties over the past 10 years, we have to rate this one as one of the best. We have booked again for 2015.
This is a lovely condo, beautifully furnished, and updated with all the amenities you could want. Very centrally located near shopping and dining. During the hectic times of Christmas shopping and family gatherings we would return to the condo to find peace and relaxation! Enjoying our coffee each morning on the balcony overlooking grounds, featuring a soothing pond with a large water fountain and palm trees flowing in the breeze, was a wonderful way to start our day! We always felt safe and comfortable here. The owner was very accommodating to our every need, easy to communicate with, and very friendly. This will be our go to place Everytime we visit our family in Sarasota!
Having rented countless apartments for both business and holidays in numerous countries over the past 10 years, it is rare that the description, service, communication and experience all match. In this case, everything that Steve writes about his apartment is true. You definitely get an apartment in new and well cared-for condition. It is clean, in a quiet place in the complex and close to all shops and services. Even if you don't have a car (which is almost essential in Sarasota) you could easily live in Seranta. The grounds, pool, gym and apartment block is very well maintained. In fact I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Steve can't be faulted as the owner. He responds to any issues immediately.
Serenata is positioned alongside University Parkway's trendy dining and coffee shops with easy access to grocery stores, pharmacies, and a multitude of shopping. You are just a quick drive to the keys and the magnificent white sands of Siesta Key Beach, ranked #1 beach in North America! Rates provided are subject to Florida state sales and excise tax 6.5% as well as Manatee County Resort Tax 5% = 11.5% total. Rates and fees are subject to change until booking is confirmed.
Payment in USD accepted with the following options: Bank issued Cashier's Check, Bank Draft / Money Order, PayPal electronic payment (Paypal transfer fee responsibility of guest). 50% of rental rate due at the time of booking, remaining funds due 30 days before arrival.
