Very private retreat with plenty of books.

Sleeps 5 (1 queen-size bed, 1 queen convertible, 1 rollout for child). Private Bath, Full Kitchen/Dining Area, Walk-in Closet, Dressing Room, Living Room, Private Veranda, Courtyard.
About Deric Beil

A Victorian-Italianate house, 'Colophon' was built in 1886 for William Holt, a native of Boone Hill, North Carolina, who was in the Battle of Gettysburg (55th North Carolina Regiment), and was severely wounded in the heroic charge of July 3rd. After the war he moved to Wilmington and then, in 1877, to Savannah to found a cotton-brokerage firm. He also served on the Vestry of St. John's Episcopal Church and as Secretary of the Georgia Historical Society.

Our B&B is across the street from the Forsyth Park bandshell, the foremost outdoor venue for cultural activities. We are a 2-minute walk from the Georgia Historical Society, 3 minutes from the 'Midnight House,' and 4 minutes from the Crystal Beer Parlor or Leoci's.
