Joe and Mark have been coming to Walla Walla to vacation for the past 11 years. We fell in love with the wineries, climate and friendly people. Walla Walla is different from most Eastern Washington towns. This town reflects much of what Joe experienced in the midwest. We will be retiring to Walla Walla and look forward in making this our new home.
Both of us have always wanted to live in a Victorian home. This was a dream come true when we purchased this wonderful home last year. The home is beautifully restored and we look forward in sharing it with our guests.
We rented this house for a reunion weekend, and it was wonderful. The hosts were helpful and gracious, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and entertaining, and the house is gorgeous. It's a historic house and is decorated in a charming period style--but it is nevertheless comfortable. You can sit down and relax without feeling like you are in a museum. The photos actually don't do it justice. The house is one block away from Whitman, and it's easy to walk to the college or downtown from there. We had a wonderful visit and will definitely rent this house again--if we can get it!
We had a GREAT time at the Boyer House during our stay in Walla2. The house is in a great location to get the hometown feeling & is centrally located to enjoy all of that the valley has to offer. The house is amazing & had plenty of room(plus more) for us. The backyard was nice to sit in but the front porch was our favorite hang out. It was a very comfortable stay. Thanks Boyer House!
My wife and I visited Walla Walla with two other couples for her 40th birthday. We had a wonderful time in this home. The rooms are spacious, the dining room is large and perfect for a group dinner, and the architectural period details are amazing. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch and relaxing and sampling a couple of the wines we bought earlier in the day. The house is a nice 10 min. walk through the Whitman campus to downtown, too. We had a great time staying here!
We stayed in the Boyer House for our daughter's graduation from Whitman College. It was absolutely perfect for our family and friends. We had a delightful BBQ celebration in the back yard. Mark was extremely kind and helpful. Each person who visited the house commented on how lovely it is. In addition, it is well stocked with everything needed to cook, sleep well, and relax. The location is great as well, as the college, restaurants, and downtown are easy walking distance from the house. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
A group of Whitman Alumni stayed here during a reunion weekend and LOVED it! What a beautiful home! Perfect location for activities on campus, as well as walking distance to downtown and everywhere else we wanted to go.
Very impressive home; the woodwork and all details have been perfectly restored. The kitchen is well-appointed, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Mark was so thoughtful and left a gift basket on the table to welcome us. There were even little baskets with travel-sized toiletries in the bathrooms in case we forgot anything!
A couple of our friends stayed at other houses in the area and when they stopped by our house they all said; "Wow! We should have stayed here!!"
This home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations on almost every level. The house was well maintained with a great porch, huge ceilings, and a great historic feel. Walking distance to Whitman campus and downtown Walla Walla makes it a perfect weekend getaway.
