Activities (on-site and nearby): Waterscape-water wonderland of resorts. I cannot say enough about this resort. Once there you will not want to leave to go anywhere else. 490 feet of pristine beach. Three beautiful pools, waterfalls, lazy river, water features, zero entry pool with rope climb and floating lilly pads. Adult Pool, small childrens splash zone with built in water slide and toys to play on. (Pool is heated in cooler months). Courtyard is full of swings, gathering areas, weber gas grills, 2 hot tubs, shuffle board area, tiki bar. Childrens shaded playground. Elite work out room also overlooking courtyard. Indoor game room, covered parking. Walking distance to the Fishing Pier and Gulfarium. Walking distance to Waffle House, Fudpuckers, Old Bay Steamer, Cash's Liquor Store. You could spend your entire time and the resort and not have to drive anywhere.
The only thing you need to bring is food and clothes and your are set.
