first of all we want to thank Chris for all he did. We got so lost and he came and found us. It was dark and cold and we were on the wrong side of town. We can't say enough about how wonderful it was to meet someone who would go so far for their guests. Selina was so nice. when ever I had a question and sent her a text she called me right back. She was great to talk to. She sent us tons of links and addresses for shops. The condo was great!!!! It was in a perfect location close enough to walk to everything. Even though the weather was extremely cold (all but 1 day in the negative numbers) we went out every day. The condo had everything we needed. the bed was super comfy and so were the futons. The kitchen had everything . We ate most of our meals in the condo. The bakery down the street OMG the croissants. The washer and dryer were a huge plus. It snowed while we were there and every thing was shoveled by the time we were finished breakfast. The condo was nice and toasty warm. We visited the Hotel de Glase even though it was -6. We also found the water fall that was taller then Niagara. We walked across a frozen lake to the almost totally frozen falls. The wind chill was -32 but it was a bucket list item. I wish I could put up pics. I could go on and on. We will be back when everything thaws. To see Quebec in the winter is unbelievable and this is the perfect place to stay. Our 16yr. old had a blast. Check out their site on Facebook!!

lovely apartment, with all the amenities for an extended stay

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is newly renovated with all the necessary amenities of home, including a washer and dryer. The apartment is on the second floor. There is some street noise in the bedroom, but nothing some ear plugs won't take care of. Working with Selina through the booking process was a real delight. She was so accommodating and helpful in supplying lots of information about Quebec and the surrounding area. Chris, who met us at the apartment was extremely helpful as well. The location of the apartment is excellent, particularly for walking to Vieux Quebec, Battlefield Park, the Parliament building, and many good restaurants. My husband and I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this apartment to friends.

wonderful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We really loved staying at this place. Selina and Chris were super responsive and friendly, went above and beyond making sure we were had everything we needed and that we were right at home. They also did a fantastic job helping us get the lay of the land and providing resources for our visit. Chris even arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport, in addition to finding me to the nearest sporting equipment store! The apartment was in great shape and very nice. Central and easily walkable to all the sites. Due to food allergies, I cook all my meals and found the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and a fantastic organic foods market blocks away. My husband loved the local beer shops and the variety they had. We loved Quebec City and would highly recommend renting here!

México City

We spent the best 4 days in Quebec City because of the great experiences we had in this condo. Everything was new, clean, comfortable and good taste. There was plenty of room for storage and the kitchen had much more than what we expected. The beds were very comfortable. We brought our car, but never used it because everything is walking distance. Even before booking, Selina was very kind and helpful during the whole process. Chris was very friendly and helpful during our stay.; he made us feel welcomed since the beginning. He even called to tell us about events going on in the city! We will sure come back!

Owner's Response: Bonjour Maria, We are delighted and I shared the news with our team this a.m. We reflected on how rewarding this is and reminds us of why we love what we do. This was your first visit to Quebec City and we are so happy to be a part of this very memorable family experience. FYI, we will be donating your daughter's shoes to someone who is in need and will appreciate your kindness. Meilleures salutations, Selina, Chris et David

A perfect blend of location, amenities and personal service

  • 5 of 5

This was the first trip to Quebec City for me and my husband. We could not have been happier with the wonderful location--just off Rue Saint Jean and a quick stroll into the old city. A beautifully decorated condo--bright, clean, well appointed. Chris was our point person during our stay and we couldn't be happier with the service he provided. Making sure we knew how to get to all the sights we were interested in, making restaurant recommendations based on our tastes, calling us a cab and dragging our heavy suitcases up and down the 3 flights of stairs. The air conditioner did not work when we arrived and when notified, Chris was on it and had it repaired immediately. He was available by phone at any time if we needed his services. On arrival there were chocolate mints for us and a goodie bag of maple syrup (can and glass bottle) to take home. We can hardly wait to go back to Quebec City!

The condo is immaculate and watching the amount of cleaning that Chris was doing between guests it is clear they are serious about keeping it that way. Lots of fluffy towels, soaps and other amenities plus a clothes washer and dryer made this place perfect for us. This condo is up 3 flights of stairs and may not work for someone with mobility issues. However, they do have several other properties in Quebec which may not have that issue, so I would recommend you check out their other units.

Owner's Response: Bonjour Janet, It gives us so much pleasure and satisfaction to know that your first visit to Quebec City, the most beautiful city in North America, was so memorable and that we were part of that journey. We have two condos that are ideal for people with restricted mobility. In the Urban Pied-a-Tere Condo, we have on the main level the Urban Antique Studio Condo, it is a charming character condo surrounded by stone walls on the main level. It was renovated last year so it has all the comforts of home and sound proofed. A 10 minute walk, we also have a larger condo, the Majestic Bernieres Condo, in a historic home, on the main level, facing the Plains of Abraham and St. Lawrence River. Both of them are also ideally located so that you can enjoy the major attractions by foot. We are so delighted of your experience and look forward to seeing you soon. Meilleur Salutations, Selina, Chris et David.
