Beautiful front and back patios with Koi pond and waterfall in front. Fall asleep to the sound of water and wake up to views of Sandia peak from master, living and dining room. Open floor plan.

About Carol Chappell

We are a couple in our 50's who love to travel. Our home is often available because we are travelers. My wife grew up in Texas and I was an Air Force brat. The travel bug bit us both at an early age, and now that the kids are grown and gainfully employed!! we can enjoy our leisure time. We live in the house when we are in NM, so it is completely dialed out for beauty and comfort.

We bought this house for the amazing views, large windows, lots of light, open floor plan,and plenty of property to enjoy the local birds and small creatures. We love to get our coffee and sit in the front watching the hummingbirds, doves, lizards, chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits come to the pond and waterfall while we enjoy the calm and beauty of Sandia Peak. My wife has several pieces of original art that accent the eclectic furnishings of the house. We always get compliments on the way the house is furnished. Lots of color and lots of emphasis on comfort.

What makes this house unique

As well as enjoying the beautiful view of Sandia Peak while we swing on the front patio listening to the waterfall gurgle into the Koi pond, we have a great therapeutic hot tub in the enclosed back yard. Great for checking out stunning New Mexico starry nights.
