This property has been in my family since the 1940's. The cabin was built in the 1960's as a weekend get a way by my parents. I actually lived in Lakeport until I was 9 years old then moved to Orlando where I currently live. But we do go stay in the cabin as often as we can. My husband and I have recently done a major renovation on the cabin replacing the outside walls, new insulation ,new windows and new central air and heat.
The Lakeport area is a place where there are no strangers as every one greets you as if you have lived here forever. You can even learn to play washers with the locals!
The cabin has a metal roof and on a rainy day what can be more relaxing than being curled up on the couch with a good book or have your neighbors honk their horn to say hello while your having your morning coffee on the porch. Therefore the name 'Lazy Living'.
