NEWLY, RENOVATED & FURNISHED STUDIO SLEEPS 2/4

We just got back from our trip to Manhattan. We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights. It was on the 2nd floor of a building that has 1 apartment per floor. The stairs are very steep going up to the building and then up to the apt. There were either 1 or 2 apartments above us. The pictures are exactly as it looks in person. The location was great. The subway stop was 1.5 blocks at 33rd St. and Lexington. We used the subway often and it was very easy to get to the southern or northern part of Manhattan. There are tons of restaurants within a few blocks of the apt. We also found a health food grocery store and restaurants (which were important to us) along 3rd Ave. within walking distance (3 blocks), There was a regular grocery at 528 3rd Ave. We also highly recommend Healthy Oasis on 3rd Ave. for lunch. The apartment was very clean, the bed comfortable and the shower small, but excellent. The kitchen was small, but was sufficient for our needs. It had dinnerware for 4 plus one sauce pan and one frying pan along with silverware and cooking utensils but no serving bowls. It had a 2 plate burner, sink, small fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. There is an electric heater which kept the room sufficiently warm although it was 40's outside. The TV worked well as did the hair dryer. There was a lot of floor space for suitcases and extra bedding for the fold out couch. They also provided two umbrellas which came in handy one day. Probably the only complaint would be the noise. Because it is in the city, we expected noise from the street but the apartment on the first floor would play very loud music at night with a steady beat. We used earplugs and were able to sleep but if you are sensitive to noise you may not like this place. The owner and his son were very kind and always answered our questions promptly. Overall, we were very happy with the apartment and would stay here again if returning to Manhattan.
