Lo Key Villa is an ideal Vacation home .We sit directly on Coco bay with breathtaking views.
This is a privately owned home and sleeps 6-8 comfortably.
Lo Key is newly constructed (2012)with 2 self-contained units on each floor .That can be rented individually or together .The first floor has 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom .1 full kitchen ( which has a microwave ,icemaker ,Blender and coffee maker )There is a seating area for 4 off the kitchen. The living room seats 4 people also .The first floor porch which is off the living room and master bedroom is 24 x12 feet and has an outdoor table that seats 6 plus 2 sun lounges .And is on the water. Each floor has its own stairway and entrance but could also have the same stairway entrance if needed
The second floor penthouse has an open plan living room full kitchen with an island that seat 3 to 4.The master bedroom has a king size bed and closet plus bathroom ,you can view the water when sitting in the bed enjoying you early morning coffee. The porch off the penthouse is the same size as below and has a dining table for 4 plus 2 sun lounges with matters that you could sleep on.
All rooms on both floors have ceiling fans and central AC and heat .There are 2 sun decks with sun lounges and chairs all with views of the water .The house is all tile floor with tile shower tubs .Each bedroom has a large closet, and each floor has a TV with a Dvd, and an extensive DVD collection and library .There are also 2 outdoor showers .And wi fi threw out the house.
All linens/beach towels/hair dryers /irons are furnished.
Lo Key Villa is situated on Coco Bay which is a safe family beach, especially good for young children .Swimming, snorkeling and kayaking can be done most days. Due to the protection the Bay has from the Atlantic Ocean. Also just a pleasant 10 minute walk along the beach and threw a footpath cut into the bushes will take you to the Atlantic Beach , which stretches for miles and on most days is empty here you can swim , snorkel , lobster or fish . The offshore coral reef (one of the prettiest in the world) is only a few hundred yards from shore and the view is incredible
We are perfectly located on the island with only a 2 minute golf cart ride to The Green Turtle club and Mariner. A 5 minute ride to the Bluff House club and Mariner. A 20 minuet golf cart ride to new Plymouth with some amazing views on the way.
If you rent a boat there is a public dock on Coco Bay that you can see from the house and use at no charge.
You can reach Green Turtle Cay by a 1 hour flight from West Palm Beach ,FT Lauderdale or Miami .You can fly into Treasure Cay or Marsh Harbor .And after a short cab ride catch the Green Turtle ferry ,to The Green Turtle club and Mariner and be met by are Caretaker .

There are some great walks on the island .My favorite is from the house. As you leave the house head directly onto Coco Bay and follow the shoreline all the way around .This will bring you to crossing beach where you can view all of the uninhabited offshore islands ,this is this northern tip of Green Turtle and if you continue to walk around the point and start heading south along The Atlantic side of the island .The first beach you come to is Coconut beach ,which is about half a mile long and then you walk over some rock and come into Atlantic Beach .If you continue this direction along Atlantic Beach the first road you see on the right you can follow that road all the way and it will bring you back to Lo Key .This walk takes about an hour to an hour and a half. The Atlantic Beach stretches for miles and if you are up for it. You can continue all the way to New Plymouth and see some amazing sea views on the way .This could take up to 2 and a half hours to reach New Plymouth going this route .You could either walk back to lo key from New Plymouth or jump on the ferry back to the Green Turtle club, then it is just a 5 minute walk to the house. And just remember that all beaches are public in the Bahamas .
