The best part about this home is location. It offers peace and quiet. The highway is far enough away, only faint vehicle traffic could be heard. The home is nothing like anyplace we have stayed before. Yes, it really is bamboo. It has lots of cool stonework outside and an outdoor oven (unfortunately evenings brought winds gusts, so we were unable to use it).
In the mornings we heard roosters crowing, and saw Nene (rare Hawaiian geese), many different beautiful birds in the yard.
The fans in each room kept it cool. The house was clean. The house was cozy. The bottom floor has additional sleeping area, and another full bathroom. There was Wii (or some type of play station), good for entertaining the kids.
The owners/managers were helpful.
Cool, kinda funky place!
The beach was a ten minute walk, it wasn't our favorite for snorkeling, but nice for sunbathing and swimming.
