About Tom Hess

I grew up in Michigan and went to college at Michigan Technological University. I currently work for a pharmaceutical company in Princeton, New Jersey

Tom Hess purchased this cottage in 1963
Why Tom Hess chose Harbor Springs

My parents built this property in the 60's. I have been coming up to Northern Michigan for over 50 years. Even though I now live in the Philadelphia area, I continue to come back every year to enjoy the wildlife, views and stunning sunsets on Lake Michigan

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage is located in a private association just off M=119 (the Tunnel of Trees). This allows a very peaceful and quiet environment. You can walk and enjoy the beach without crowds. The fire pit on the beach allows you to view the unbelievable star display. The cottage has enough bedrooms and bathrooms to sleep multiple families. You are 1 mile away from the quaint store and shops in Good Hart. You are in close proximity to Mackinaw Island, Harbor Springs and Petoskey.
