Why Justin Hilton chose Occidental
Nestled in towering redwoods of Camp Meeker, with wineries galore a short drive away, Occidental with great restaurants and artisan shops less than a few minutes drive, Freestone with the famous Wild flour bakery and the Osmosis Japanese Spa just a few minutes further down the road. Tomales Bay is a short drive as well for kayaking and fresh oysters.
Bodega Bay and Jenner are also quaint little towns worthy of exploration as well as the many State and county beaches near by and our favorite place for a picnic ' grove of the old tress ' also just a short drive way.
Bring your bike, the area is home to some of the most picturesque road biking in the state as well as plenty of great mountain biking trails. The chef's kitchen comes fully stocked and besides visiting the many wineries of the area we recommend stopping by Andy's produce stand or Whole Foods In Sebastopol for delicious local goodies. Also just a Short drive away is another Sonoma county favorite Kozlowski farms. Every Square inch of this tranquil retreat was designed with comfort and conservation in mind. We look forward to sharing it's beauty and serenity with you...
