We loved this apartment!
This apartment was great! Staying here made us feel like we were a Parisians, not visitors to this great city.
The apartment is in a 17th century building. It had that "old world" charm. The living area was in the middle of the apartment. Two bedrooms and two baths were 4 steps up from the living area on one side and the kitchen, dining room and other bath were four steps up on the other side. The apartment was large and was in a perfect location in the Marais District.
It is only 3 blocks to the Seine and the bridge to Notre Dame. For those addicted as my husband is, there are two Starbucks
within two blocks. You can catch the Bat-o-bus (boat taxi) from Notre Dame or from 2 blocks away from the other side of the river. Shops and restaurants are plentiful in the area surrounding the apartment. Grocery stores can be found within two blocks.
There is a lot of foot traffic and the area is very safe, even at night.
The owner (Maria) was very helpful and even arranged transportation for us from the airport to the apartment.
We would definitely stay here again. We loved it.
