Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)

“Location” is a great word to describe our condo. Our two-bedroom, two-bath corner unit condo is located in Building E of Lake Cliff on the 2nd floor across the street from Lake Dillon.

The town of Dillon is a short 1-1/2 hrs. drive from the Denver International Airport (DIA) and ten to thirty minutes to 5 major ski resort. Just down I-70 from famed Summit County ski areas Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Vail. Dillon offers something for everyone: great restaurants, movie theaters, bowling, tennis, shopping, live theater, playgrounds, and outdoor concerts, with 5 golf courses within a 20 minute drive. The Dillon Marina offers a sailing school and charter cruises, boat ramps, and ski, sail, pontoon, and power boats you can rent. Fishing is great, too.

Our condo is a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath corner unit with amazing views of the lake and mountains. The master bedroom has a king bed, a 27 “ flat screen television / DVD combo and an adjoining full bathroom with a steam shower. A washer/dryer is conveniently located in the master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a 25” flat screen television and an adjoining full bathroom. A double set of sheets and towels are provided. Basic bathroom supplies are provided to get you started. Relax in the family room after a day of skiing or hiking by watching your favorite shows on a 40” flat screen cable television with a Blue-Ray DVD player. A gas fireplace will warm you as you gaze outside at breathtaking views of Lake Dillon and the surrounding mountains. A fully equipped kitchen provides all dishes, cookware, utensils, even a crock pot and Cuisinart coffee maker. Enjoy great views from the dining room table or listen to the outdoor concerts as you grill outside on the balcony using the natural gas grill, also provided. And a ski locker is right outside the front door with parking located just outside. High speed internet access and WiFi are also provided.

We are just steps away from the Summit Stage which offers free public transportation to skiing and shopping. Great restaurants such as Pug Ryan’s Steakhouse and Brewery and Arapahoe Cafe (try the Baja Benny for breakfast!) are across the street. Walk to the Farmer’s Market , tennis courts, bowling alley and the Dillon Marina. The bike path is just across the street. You can walk, jog, or bike to Keystone, Frisco, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge on this 50 miles of paved path.

The clubhouse at Lake Cliff has an indoor swimming pool and two hot tubs with restrooms and showers. A huge meeting room with kitchen is available to guests.

Sorry, no pets are allowed per HOA rules and there is no smoking in our condo or in common areas of Lake Cliffe property.

So come stay at our condo. You’ll love it!

We are Mike and Linda, from Texas. Now that we are retired we are able to do the things we love, play tennis, golf, ski, and RELAX. What better place to do that than in Dillon, Colorado.

Why Linda Wetzel chose Dillon

Many years ago, the grandparents would take our children and spend the summers in Dillon. We never imagined we would own a home here. We love to play tennis and golf. Summers in Texas don't lend themselves to such activities. Skiing in definitely out where we live. We spent a month up here summer of 2011 and immediately started looking for our own place.

What makes this condo unique

The minute we saw this unit we bought it. A corner unit provides views of the mountains and the lake that are amazing. Location is probably the most unique benefit of this unit.

Working holiday

We come to the Dillon area every November for the start of the ski season. We have not been completely satisfied with our accommodations in the past but this year we have found a new home and we hope to be able to come back in future years. I am a professional ski instructor and I come here to train and go into instructor camps at Abasin with other instructors from North america and Europe. It is important that we can rest and relax when not on the slopes. This unit is very quiet and comfortable and we slept very well. We live at sea level and the altitude here usually means we get headaches and insomnia but we weren't affected that way staying here. Our stay was 5 weeks so it became a home for us.

four of us, 2 couples, stayed at this great condo for 4 nights and it is awesome. The bedrooms, kitchen and all accessories, deck, parking were top of the line. The bike path easy access and all very accommodating. The area of Breckenridge, keystone, frisco coppermountain and even vail are all either a simple bike ride or short drive. I would highly recommend snd the fall colors aspens were in full bloom. thank you

Beautiful condo, great location, wonderful owners

Dillon is a great all-season vacation destination and this is one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in there. Open floor plan with great views out the balcony, kitchen, and living room overlooking Dillon Reservoir and the mountains. The gas fireplace is just like having a wood fire without the hassle. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and serve meals and is well-laid out. But you don't need to cook because within 100 yards is one of the best restaurants in Dillon (Arapahoe Café), best pubs (Pug Ryans) and sports bars (Tavern). The amphitheatre, bike path, playground, and marina are also next door, and a half mile away is the City Market grocery store, movie theatre, and coffee shops. Can't beat the location. The two bedrooms are quite comfortable, each with their own bathroom; one with a steam shower and laundry room. Nice spacious living room with large flat screen TV. Very convenient storage locker just outside the condo entrance. The owner, Linda, was a joy to work with. She is very responsive and did everything she could to make our stay most enjoyable. We would not hesitate to stay here again. A fantastic unit that is very reasonably priced.

Great location and very comfortable

Three adults stayed in the unit for long weekend. The location is excellent, with great views of the lake, and very convenient to restaurants, stores, and bike and walking paths. ALso, very easy to get to as it is close to the main highway from Denver. Particulary enjoyed the amphiteatre being just across the street, and the gas grill on the balcony. The unit is well maintained and furnished, and has two large comfortable beds and two nice bathrooms.

Great condo in unbeatable location

This second-floor unit is in a fabulous location and we really enjoyed our stay over Fourth of July weekend. We rent in this area frequently and this is one of the best places we've stayed. Great views of the mountains and lake and the lakeside ampitheatre is directly across from this unit so it was like a private concert every night over the weekend! The place was immaculately clean and I liked that the grill on the balcony is connected directly to the main gas line so you never have to worry about the gas running out halfway through cooking dinner. There are restaurants right across the street and a bike rental place a couple blocks away with the main bike path that runs around the lake running right past the condo.

Location Location Location!!

We spent 3 nights in this corner unit and looked forward to arriving each evening after our strenuous activities in the mountains. The condo has numerous large windows, so we were able to enjoy fabulous views of Dillon Reservoir and the surrounding mountains. Our favorite time of day was sunrise - as the views were just gorgeous! The unit was very clean, spacious and well stocked. Although we did not take advantage of it, we appreciated the outside ski locker for equipment storage. Having a washer/dryer was a big plus, but our favorite amenity was the steam shower!! A nice perk was the fact that this condo is located across the street from The Arapahoe Cafe - and within one block of Pub Ryan's - which are both great restaurants. We would definitely recommend the condo to friends and would gladly return ourselves.
