Our family had a WONDERFUL stay at this house. We are Portlanders who were living away for a couple of years, and were in search of a vacation rental over the holidays. We were greeted by the owners mother, who made us feel right at home - she even brought our children a little gift while she was out shopping one of the days! The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated in a classic Portland style. We have two children, and the downstairs area was just perfect for them with books and toys and a cute back bedroom. We were able to entertain friends in the main room comfortably, everything about our stay was great. I would HIGHLY recommend this vacation home!
Older home No TV but it was clean and for a two bedroom quite roomy. Owners or their representative was very timely It is a good central location
Good location and close to a nice assortment of stores, restaurants, and public transportation. Place is quaint, clean, and suited our needs. 5 people was about the max without joint sleeping arrangements. Would stay again. Thanks
This is a wonderful place for those who want a fun and comfortable home within walking distance of Alberta Street. We enjoyed our time here with two families (four adults and three kids). It's an older home, but clean and very well-cared for. From the garden to the colorful paint to the library collection, it's obvious that a lot of love went into this place. Communication with the owners was stellar. Nice neighbors to boot! We would absolutely stay here again the next time we go to Portland.
I highly recommend this charming house for a stay in Portland! Clean, bright, well-appointed and just plain interesting, I loved all the art and design details. I was attending a conference downtown at the conference center, and it was a quick three block walk to the bus that took me right there. I felt like a Portland resident rather than a visitor. There's a Safeway and a Walgreens also within a very short walking distance. The neighborhood was clean and quiet and I felt very safe. The bigger beds were lumpy and I missed having a TV to catch my morning and evening news shows, but this place is a winner!
We had a wonderful time at this rental- the place was very clean and welcoming and was close to many restaurants and easy accessibility to 1-5, the convention center, the zoo and more. There was a fantastic selection of books for both us and the kids. We had great communication with the owners and all of our needs were answered and met.
