Best place to stay in Valletta

We stayed in the San Angelo suite, which is the penthouse at the top of this beautifully restored palazzo. We chose this apartment because of the excellent reviews it received, and we were not disappointed. The free taxi was waiting for us at the airport, and Franck the owner was waiting outside the Palazzetto to welcome us.
Franck does everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one. He even lights lots of pretty candles in the beautiful little courtyard at night, creating a lovely calm atmosphere.
The penthouse is light and airy, and although it was extremely hot and humid during our stay, we hardly used the air conditioning, finding the standing fan and through breeze sufficient. The view from the patio is outstanding, and a pair of binoculars is recomended to watch the constant traffic of boats in the harbour.The Palazzo is just a few minutes from the center of Valletta, and within easy walking distance to all of the attractions and the bus station. The nearest restaurant, the Luciana, is one block away, with great service, good food and value.
All in all, this has to be the best place to stay in Valletta.
