Villa Samphire is located on the north-west coast on the tree studded slope below the traditional village of Tsoukalades and is ideal for a family holiday or a romantic retreat. The village of Tsoukalades is within walking distance for an evening meal and Lefkas Town, with its abundance of exquisite restaurants and cafes is a ten minute drive. The closest sandy/shingle beach is an 8 minute walk down the hill and the best beaches on the island are about 5 min drive on the west coast. The villa is set in private grounds amidst a flourish of Mediterranean herbs, plants and trees. The large paved terrace around the pool has a shaded dining area backed by a beautiful olive tree and plenty of Greek flowers and shrubs. The house is comfortably furnished and both rooms have A/C and open up on to a balcony with unspoilt views reaching out across the beaches of the northern tip of the island and all the way up to Paxos and Corfu. The open plan kitchen/lounge is fully equipped with all mod cons.

The sleepy village of Tsoukalades is set amongst olive groves on the hills of the north - west coast of Lefkas. The village itself is charming and traditional with narrow streets separating the small houses and there are a handful of restaurants and shops to choose from. There are two beautiful and almost private beaches about 3 minutes drive from the village; Pefkoulia one of the most stunning beaches on the west coast is about 5 minutes drive and Lefkas Town with its Ionian architecture, abundance of shops and exquisite restaurants is about 10 minutes drive to the north. Tsoukalades is famous for the gorgeous sunsets and the most spectacular views of the Ionian; on a clear day the views extend all the way accross the sea north to Paxos and Corfu!

Notes: There are sunbeds around the pool area two of which are foldable and can be taken to the beach. A portable BBQ is also provided. Floatron sanitising system used in pool which siginficantly reduces the amount chlorine necessary. Twice weekly maid service and linen change.
