The Costa del Sol/Malaga region:
The costa del sol refers to the stretch of land which runs over 150 kilometres of Malaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations for a wide variety of reasons.
The main one being that this area has a mild climate all year round which makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities. The Costa del Sol, and in particular the cosmopolitan city of Marbella, remain the Mediterranean's most popular hotspots for travellers looking for any type of holiday.
The shops and restaurants in old town Marbella, white pueblo of Benahavis, the bars and clubs (and people watching!) in San Pedro, Estepona and Puerto Banus, horse racing in Mijas, polo in Sotogrande or even the history and culture of the many traditional towns and cities in the surrounding area: Ronda, Granada Mijas, Casares, Gaucin, Seville - to name but a few.
Benahavis / Gazules del Sol area:
Benahavis, is a beautiful village about 10 minutes from the busy resorts of the costa del sol ie porto banus, and only 15 minutes from Marbella. Set amidst a picturesque moutain backdrops you can relax and enjoy the ambience, typical of an Andalucian village.
Golfers are spoilt for choice, with up to 9 courses within very easy reach. local supermarket is only a 3 minute drive. The beaches are just 10 minutes way. Gazules de sol has its own private gym and sauna. Or if the temptation of playing padel-tennis is too much then we have one located on site. The development has been built to a high standard with marble work tops and marble floors through out. The views from the terrace are amazing. There is 24 hour security on site with private gates. Gazules de sol is a majestic looking development located just off the road that runs between the Coast and the white pueblo of Benahavis.
The world famous 'Puerto Banus' is just a ten minute drive from the apartment .
How to get there:
The Urbanisacion Gazules del sol is approximately 40 mins drive from Malage airport. You can either rent a car in the airport or take the bus to marbella in the airport as well (4 euros). Malaga airport is serviced by many budget airlines. Monarchairlines, www.flymonarch.co.uk, is one of the cheapest, but you can try Easy Jet, Jet2, Thomsonfly, BMIbaby and Ryanair. You can also fly to Gibraltar which is about 50 minutes away.
The village of Benahavis is a short 5 minute drive passing. The beaches and many amenities of San Pedro and the exclusive Puerto Banus are within a 10-15 minute drive. Also within easy reach are the resorts of Marbella and Estepona and a trip to Gibraltar makes for a lovely day out.
It is an ideal all year round holiday home for couples, golfers and families with older children who are looking for high quality accommodation with first class facilities

Ski resort Sierra Nevada is just 2 hours away. We have a studio there also that you can rent in the winter season.
