Bear Lodge!

We thought this was a very cozy and comfortable cottage. In fact, we were so comfortable we had trouble leaving! The leather furniture in the great room was extremely comfortable and there were many great spots on the property to relax with a book. Some of our favorite amenities were the outdoor fire pit, the indoor fire place (unadvertised ... nice surprise!), and the reversible air hockey/pool table. One detractor was the fact that it was in a neighborhood at an intersection of two streets, so although it is fairly private due to the lot size and the shield of pine trees the neighbors are still fairly close. There is a hot tub on the property, which is a nice addition ... Unfortunately it was drained for maintenance, so we look forward to that in the future. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, although for anyone planning a serious meal like the Thanksgiving dinner we prepared while there, it would be a good idea to bring some of your own cooking gear and spices.
The cabin was very, very homey and it really did feel like we were guests in someone's house, even to the extent that a lot of miscellaneous stuff was in various drawers. A bit more organization would help here, especially in the garage.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! This home is new to the rental market and we will be addressing the organization and upgrading the hot tub in the near future.
