we had a great experience at this cabin. very well maintained and the owners are very friendly. it is secluded in the woods, a very large property so u do not hear the nieghbors around u. we brought our dog with us and he had a great time running around and the yard is so big he could be off leash and we did not have to worry about anything. i would recommend this cabin to anyone with a family or a couple looking for a nice place to rent. all the beds are in one spot in a loft so would not recommend to rent if u are looking for seperate bedrooms in the cabin. only 30 min away from whistler and other great places around the whistler area. i would rent this cabin again!

A Dream Weekend

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to a long weekend, unplugged, to relax and enjoy the unseasonably warm weather in BC. This cabin felt like a home away from home.

The location is outstanding- minutes away from the most beautiful lakes, rivers and hikes. The view from the cabin itself was breathtaking. We felt so at home here- cozy, clean and well-stocked (everything you need).

Thank you so much Scott and family... We can't wait to book another stay as soon as we can.

Beautiful location, amazing cabin

  • 5 of 5

I booked the cabin as an anniversary surprise and it was absolutely perfect. Scott was really responsive and helpful with any questions I had prior to booking and arrival, and sent all the info we needed for the cabin and local attractions. The cabin was beautiful outside and in, and very clean. The setting is perfect - around 10 minutes north of Pemberton so close enough to go for meals/shopping/coffee etc, but far enough away that you feel like you are in your own piece of secluded heaven. It's also really close to Joffre Lakes which is one of the best hikes in the area. We will be back in the Summer for sure!

Never Wanted to Leave!

  • 5 of 5

We booked the cabin expecting to have a relaxing 4 day long weekend and we were not disappointed. The location was beautiful and peaceful with gorgeous views of the lake. The cabin itself was perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. Our dogs loved exploring the trails surrounding the cabin as well. My only complaint was that our experience ended too soon. Next time we will book a longer stay.

Romantic, Secluded, Snowmobilers Welcome

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for our Honeymoon and couldn't have been more pleased. The cabin was clean and enjoyable and the neighbor who lives down the hill was friendly and stocked our wood pile for us. Unfortunately we had a minor accident while sledding so we had to cut our stay short. The owners were sympathetic and even gave us a refund for our last night. We are looking forward to going back!

I strongly suggest it. It's awesome!

Must stay hideaway!!!

  • 5 of 5

After a fabulous US West coast road trip and a few days in the enjoyable bustle of Vancouver my Wife and I were ready for a good few days in a secluded cabin away from it all. My wife had always wanted to stay in a log cabin by a lake. That picture postcard image we all know.

However, we were not expecting it to be SOOOO picture postcard.........it was AWESOME!!!

The cabin is brilliantly tucked away, on it's own land, and has everything you need for a week or more, to get totally away from the rat race.

It was clean, very comfortable, and had all the facilities that you have at home but would not necessarily expect in a log cabin. The open plan and homely decor gives the cabin a very traditional feel. It has a great stove, kitchen, bathroom and fab sleeping balcony.

Great use of large windows allows natural light in, and no matter what the weather outside, it was always homely and cosy inside.

Location is superb, with Pemberton so close (and having everything you need), and lakes, glaciers, and numerous walks all to hand. The creek just below the cabin is something to see and so close, and the beach down on the lake looks like from another time and age with its washed up and bleached trees and branches.

Joffre Lakes is a must and Matier Glacier at the top lake is out of this world.

We were speechless when we saw the cabin at first......it is quite a sight as you drive up and around the corner and see it in front of you. As the days went on we relaxed so much we didn't do anything for 4 days apart from sit outside, read, bbq, admire the view, then in the evening get the stove burning and watch a dvd.

If you are looking for that true 'drop out of society' getaway then this place is where you need to go.

We had met the owner in Vancouver prior to arriving and found him to be a very genuine and very helpful chap, offering to be on the end of a phone call whenever required.

We had a fantastic stay here. Without doubt we would stay here again. Perhaps it needs a name...............'Cinnamon Cabin', as we were told that Cinnamon bears roam around the woods. It has everything else.

Totally......utterly.......without hesitation recommend this cabin.

Owner's Response: Thanks very much for your kind words. So happy you had a great stay! I like your suggested name for the cabin...might have to use that! Especially since we saw a Cinnamon Bear about three weeks ago wondering around with her cubs. Cheers, Scott.
